Good quiet and yet central with great access to all that's "happening". Definitely good value and would recommend to anyone unhesitatingly.
Breakfast is adequate and the pool with a well laid out garden and its happy hours is a great place to unwind. For a small boutique hotel the Ramada packs many many great features.

We've stayed there for 4 nights. We arrived at 10am and couldn't get our room immediately but could swim at the swimming pool until 1pm. It was very nice. The swimming pool area is very nice and the pool is nice refreshing. We first got a room at the 7th floor but it smelled very much of tabacco and we asked for another room. The woman at the reception was very nice and apologize for this and changed the room to the 12th floor. The room was not very romantic but functional and big, the bathroom okay with a fantastic rain shower. The view (swimming pool side) was very nice but that will probably change when the new building near the swimming pool will be finished. By the way, at the time we were at Ramada, we didn't have so much problem with the work on that new building. The cleaning of the room was not always perfect and we had to ask to clean the toilets and to give us new soap. The breakfast is very expensive but really nice with a large range of food to choose from : different breads (one time fantastic whole seed breads), eggs like you want, salad, tomatoes, olives, warm dishes, fruits, croissants, mini pancakes, yoghurt (with sugar what's sad for me because I don't like sweetened yoghurt), fruit juice (not fresh).... Tip for the breakfast staff: please never serve tea in a pot where you first put coffee in it! The manager was very nice and made that we felt like we were not in such a big hotel. He gave us nice tips about what to do in Bangkok and it was nice to talk with him every morning.
The hotel is at a nice location if you like the luxury shopping malls and if you like to move through Bangkok because of the skytrain and metro nearby. It is fun to have the tuktuk to drive you to the Sukhumvit Road but we didn't had always the patience to wait for it and anyway it's a very short walk to the avenue.
Conclusion: a bit expensive hotel but with nice staff, nice pool, we would come back here again.

Room Tip: Rooms at a high level have nice views but this will probably change for the "swimming pool"...

My family and two friends stayed at Ramada Hotel & Suites in Bangkok, Thailand. To our delight, the staff upgraded our room to a suite which was more than okay with us.. The room was very clean and is cleaned everyday for five days, the duration of our stay..The food was perfect and I had to abstain with my diet. The breakfast by the pool gave us a leisurely ambiance. the hotel was just a walk to major road networks.. Will go back to this hotel in our next trip to Bangkok.

Room Tip: Higher floors have better views

I stayed at the hotel for two weeks most of the time for work but added some more days to just relax and see town. The hotel is a 5mins walk (or very short trip with the free hotel tuc tuc) from Asok BTS and the MRT station at shukumvit road. The hotel gardens and the pool within wis fantastic location for just enjoying your free time. Full sun will be in the gareden from early mornings till noon. Ideal to start work late. The service is exceptionally friendly. I found that the air conditioning in the room is slightly noisy but that could be me only not being used to having such machinery in the bedroom. Many times I just walked down the soi even if I could have taken the tuc tuc. It's really a short walk only. The room is equipped with kettle and free tea/coffee. Also drinkng water was stocked up regularly. I was very happy staying there for two weeks ( actually I extended from initially one week to two week while I was there). I would go there any time again.
