“Ugh...don't go here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

The rooms are okay but very expensive and the level of service you get is woefully poor. The wi-fi is not fast, there is bread and juice as the "buffet" and the service couldn't have been worse once they got your money. I will never go back here.

The days room was ok except a bit far way in walking, but with shower, towels, tooth brush and bottled water and free tit bits. Also a free breakfast, that is served 24 hr, so even though we would check out at 730 pm, we also get the free snack, which is sufficient for traveller. Room is clean and reasonable size, functional. Bed s are comfortable. Two short comings: the days room is at a remote corner on the 4 th floor of G wing, if you are not sure how to get there, it is better ask around, and also it is quite a long way to walk there. I found the reception staff reasonably helpful, sound proof is not so good and in the room you can hear the announcements in the departure hall continuously, for some people, they may find it difficult to sleep.

Louise Tavern and I conjured up images of a theme lounge, turned out to be a simple airport lounge after all. the transit rooms are just a floor above. Basic, but sufficient. I believe it quite close to the Gates A, for me from gate D it took circa 10 minutes of walking...not bad really. Wi-fi was available. Smoking room also located just a floor up in close proximity. he key thing is was not crowed and one could have areal quite time or rest in peace.

was expecting at least a comfortable double bed to catch up on sleep after a long evening flight - did read reviews before booking but thought things could not be that bad - THEY WERE
Firstly found it very difficult to locate and staff at the airport was not that helpful in knowing what part of the airport one should head for so spent half an hour walking and looking, once found had to pay a deposit for the key (even though they had credit card details - and the room had cost $130 for six hours) found the room small with two single beds and very little else on deciding to shower was unable to get any hot water - gave up the room after 4 hours as it was to depressing - an expensive excercise. NEVER AGAIN

Checked in around 1 AM for a six hour stay. Solo travelers seem to be put on the 3rd floor. The room was clean, ok size for one person, and a hard mattress with a soft pillow. I was very tired and fell asleep despite hearing an occasional flight announcement coming from the speaker system in the airport terminal. The bathroom was clean and the hot water heater in the shower worked ok. I received a timely wake up call. Coffee at the breakfast area was good but food was terrible.

Overall, ok for a six hour stay, but at $120 US dollars, was way overpriced!! Singapore airport has better rooms for about $75 US dollars for a six hour stay.

Me and my husband had a 7 hour lay over and usually just have a quick shower at one of the in transsit hotels. We however decided to book into Louis Tavern Transit Hotel. We did not any reviews on the hotel beforehand It was just after midnight and the staff was friendly - we got a room straight away! It was big, clean, lovely big windows, clean linen and towels and it had snacks in the mini fridge. It had DSTV and all the essentials. The breakfast in the lounge was limited but included in the price. Regarding the price - i dont think it's that expensive - i suppose its all relevant - but it was worth it for us. ;) We would stay there again

I came through like many with a 11 hour layover-- unlike many I ignored the negative reviews and advice and tried to stay at the airport. I am glad the person wrote about avoiding immigration check in for this hotel-- frankly i could not find the entrance until after i got back inside the secured area-- which meant i had to wait several hours to get a plane ticket. If there is another entrance-- good luck finding and good luck with advice as i was told at least 6 different things about how to get here-- even an English speaking policeman at the tourist center said there was not sleeping day room to get to.

Expensive-- 4 hours sleep same price as other hotels for over night. Breakfast??? please--- stale pasteries, listless service and anything but coffee and hot chocolate (which was good) costs extra.

Yes, thin walls-- thin everything. For a major international destination--- i love the Thai people and their country-- very sad to have such a poor day room and club lounges. Maybe they really want you to go to the off site hotels.

I did find that the little massage place 3rd floor- outside the secure area-- very very reasonable for a very good massage. next time-- i will just sit getting a massage the entire 11 hours-- cheaper and more quiet than the airport day room.
