We suppose you must read quiet and not quit. And clean. Ok then.

But the insinuation of steeling is simply unacceptable.
I have personally checked this room out and can guarantee there was nothing like a watch left in the room.
I can also state that my staff shows me everything they find in the rooms (may it be half a bottle of shampoo or a magazine). And I always contact guests by mail to know what was their intention about these “abandoned/forgotten” objects if they have some value. We have twice sent a mobile phone to Europe (1 left behind in the restaurant, 1 that had slipped under the mattress at the head of the bed).
I disagree with this despicable attitude consisting in blaming the cleaning staff each time you loose/forget something instead of blaming oneself for being oblivious and/or inconsistent.
The guest wife has acknowleged having forgotten the watch. I bet she also forgot where she forgot it !!
Surely not in Hansaah. Everybody here is getting a decent salary and does not expect anything from the guests except some consideration due to all human beings.

I'd a calm 5 nights with my family (5 adults &1 child) in Hansaah, the place is very clean, easily reached, 7 eleven & exchange currency 3 minutes on foot from there. & many restaurants in the streets. The owners are friendly, gave me advice for getting to places, arranging a van for us to go wherever we wanted & providing a matress for my child. The breakfast was just perfect....
Simply, the place is well organized & i do recommend for people coming to Bangkok.

My husband and I just left Hansaah this morning after a 4 night stay. If you're used to guesthouses then this is a great option in Bangkok. The breakfast is fabulous. You can choose from bacon and eggs, crepe, or yogurt and fruit all served with wonderful toast and homemade jam. The owner Jac, is very kind and helpful and is a great person to have a conversation with or get advice on what to do in the city. We thought the room we stayed in (double bed) was just the right size and was very clean. The a/c worked so well I had to Ask my husband to turn it up during the night because I was cold! They give you two free bottles of water a day and will hail a cab for you to make sure they know where you're going. It's close to the Lumpini station which connects with BTS and you can easily get to where you need to go. Overall we had no complaints about this guesthouse and would recommend it to others.

Room Tip: The back rooms have no view but a brick wall but are super quiet at night from the Bangkok noise

We enjoyed every detail during our staying. Jac and Pom were so helpful even before our arrival as they prepared an itinerary to the driver written in native language. So we haven`t any problem finding a hotel.
The food was perfect, the room was clean and cosy, the interiors were nice, everything worked. We returned to the room after each sight-seeing day like home.

The breakfast is a separate story. Its definetely made with soul. We also enjoyed dinners. The yellow curry was just something amazing.

I think any person who is looking for a guesthouse in Bangkok would enjoy his staying at Hansaah.

And a couple of words regarding the situation of the hotel.
It is near Lumphini park and close to Lumphini metro station, so you can easily get to all the sights using public transport - a metro and then switch to BTS, boats or buses.

If we have a chance to visit Bangkok again, we would definetely stay at Hansaah again. That`s for sure.

Room Tip: If it is hard for you to climb the stairs - select a room on the first floors.

We stayed at Hansaah 3 nights in December when we arrived in Bangkok and 4 nights before leaving for home in February. The owners were helpful and made our stay very easy. They found a convenient place for us to assemble and disassemble our bicycles. During our cycle tour, they stored our bicycle cases and loaned us a portable telephone. Hansaah is close to the main train station north and Lumphini Park, a wonderful oasis in a big city. We enjoyed a Sunday evening concert in the park. Excellent breakfasts and dinner. Helpful with directions, suggestions for touring Bangkok, and answering questions about Thailand. Jac knew where we could find an excellent cycle shop when we arrived without a tool we would need on our tour and croissants when we returned to Bangkok and needed a change of taste. The rooms we stayed in are large, very well kept, and comfortable. The atmosphere is convivial. Highly recommend Hansaah for visitors and especially for cycle tourers.

Nothing bad to stay! We recommend it to anyone who is looking for a room to stay in Bangkok. Owners were incredibly helpful, breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. We started off our 4 month travelling exp at this guest house, and what a great place to start. Taxi or Tuk Tuk ride away from Khao sang road, it does take about 20mins but only cost around 80-160 Bath (£2) but it is easy walking distance to the metro. VEry peaceful at night, so you are guaranteed a good night sleep.
Stay here you wont be disappointed.

We showed up at the Hansaah Guest house at 2am with 10 people. Jac greeted us warmly. This place is beautiful and classy. Everything is in perfect condition and you can tell the owners take great pride in their guesthouse. The best part was breakfast which was included with the rooms. Homemade bread, homemade jam, the best hot chocolate, the best bacon, on and on....
Our group loved the food.

Jac was so nice and helpful. He helped us plan our days in Bangkok and even hailed us cabs when needed. Thank you for a great stay!
