OK, a couple of clarification first. The overall rating of "Average" from me is due almost solely to the location of the hotel. Don't get me wrong; I enjoy the Nana scene and don't mind walking (in fact, I probably walk 2~3 miles everyday sightseeing in TH/BKK). However, the hotel is so far and deep down Soi Nana/4 (600 meters, according to hotel) that walking in and out became a chore. The hotel tuk-tuk helps when you go out (to Nana BTS station, for example), but not on the way back unless you can call hotel to arrange for pick-up (the service ends at 11pm, anyway). Of course, if you are the type that takes cabs in and out all the time, then it’s a non-issue.

With that out of the way, let's talk about the hotel. It’s a mid-rise building tucked away in a narrow lane at the end of Soi Nana, so there’s no view whatsoever, which is fine. On the inside, the lobby and the mezzanine level sitting area are both very spacious and tastefully decorated. Room and bathroom are not huge, but acceptable for singles or couples. The dining/breakfast room is of good size; breakfast buffet is adequate (there’s even a noodle soup stand). There is a small semi-indoor/outdoor pool, and a gym on top of it, which, is a bit ill-equipped, in my opinion. Overall, the entire property is quite nice and clean, and seems fairly new.

The staff is friendly and courteous, as is usually the case in TH. My only minor complaints are: (1) there’s no hot water (either that, or it’s less than warm) at the bathroom sink thru out my stay (didn’t report since it did not bother me that much); (2) housekeeping took away two small towels which were present my first day and never replenished.

We paid in the US$56 range (including taxes), with breakfasts included.

Bottom line: I would like to love this hotel, but just can’t. Everything about the hotel is actually fine; it’s just the long walk….Probably will not return or recommend to friends, given the many choices out there.

Modern hotel hidden at the end of seedy Soi Nana 4...but don't let that deter you as it really is a great hotel. Very clean and new. The big bathroom window is a bit odd, but you can just always pull down the blinds to hide the bathroom! The pillows are a bit flat, and uncomfortable, but you can just ask for more. Very close to Bumrungrad Hospital and a short ride to MBK/Central World. They provide a free tuk tuk service to the end of the road also if you're too lazy to walk. The rooms are surprisingly very quiet and you forget that you are in the middle of Bangkok! Room service food was a bit poor, so don't bother unless you are absolutely desperate like I was.

Spend four days with my family in Boss suites hotel. The first impression was nice, although the photos and brochures give always a polished version of the truth. Pool was small but nice, friendly staff. Distances to shopping malls, lumpini park etc are short which is a great advantage. However, the reason for good quality hotel for a small price was soon discovered...

The major drawback of the hotel is that is so close to one of the most busy go-go bar area of the city (nana area). This is a fact that you have to live with and can not avoid since you
have to through this area all the time when staying at boss suites hotel. Moreover, as pointed in one the reviews, it's not only that the "romance business" is close by, but it is very much present inside the hotel as well. At least during our visit most of the other customers were aged, single western men hanging around with their changing girl friends. Felt a bit ackward to have a family breakfast with a dozen of other (us/european) men with their paid GF's (changing every morning). Some noise (sometimes extremely loud) from the customers also during night, that was not very enjoyable to explain to children...

Free tuk-tuk service to nearest sky-train made the trip across go-go bars slightly more tolerable.

Nice hotel with a friendly staff but would not go there again, even as a single traveller.

the friendly and helpful staff, the many facilities and the clean, airy rooms all contributed to making my experience in bangkok a great and memorable one. tuk tuk service was great (my previous attempt to walk in the heat ended in a LOT of sweat!) beautiful city, beautiful hotel, whole-heartedly recommend to all!

The Boss Suites Hotel is a good place for a short stay in Bangkok. The staff is very kind. Free internet is available. The value for money is very good. The breakfast is ok, but always place for improvements. The gym could be better equiped. The Taxi-business in Thailand is a mess. You should always go with Meter-Taxis otherwise the drivers will always cheat you. You should well organise in advance the way back to the airport.

We stayed here for 2 nights in early December 2010. It was a very nice hotel, basically 5 stars, for a great value (67 U$D) and we even got upgraded. The rooms were very nice - 5 star in standard, wifi was good, bar was good, food was nice (but service was slow), pool was nice and location very good right off the crazy Soi 4 in the Red-light district. Traffic in and out was OK as it was close to the freeway that easily led us to the airport and also to a 2-day trip to the River Kwai, the Tiger Temple and the Erawan waterfalls - all which were great. Holding a full-grown tiger in my knee is one thing that I know I will never forget! All highly recomended! all in all - do not think you can get much better value in a hotel as this. Highly recomended.
