“Outstanding Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012 via mobile

My wife and I are checking out today and although we're excited to go to Phuket, we'll definitely miss this place and the staff. Everyone here is so helpful, friendly and accommodating, especially Walinda and Boby. The ammenities are excellent as well, featuring a gym and roof deck pool. The location is not in the thick of things so if you're looking for nonstop adventure, this might not be the place for you. Instead, it's in a nuevo rich neighborhood where things are a tad quieter and a little nicer.

Tips:
- take cabs only when you need to. Traffic here is terrible. The hotel offers hourly shuttle service to the metro train however you could walk there in 10-15 mins as well.
- There are some restaurants downstairs of the hotel. Just make sure to read the cost on the menu before ordering though, especially at the crepe place.
- there's a Starbucks on the way to the train stop. It's a good way to start the day
- if you insist on going to the Floating Market in Domnoen Saduak, hire a car. Doing the bus thing takes waaaay to much time.
- massage therapists here are professional and very good

All in all, the service puts this place over the top.

Dear “Easy_Going_SF”

Thank you for your review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us in December.

Cabs are so easy to flag down and cheap to cross the city, however at rush hour the traffic in Bangkok can be as busy as it is renowned for. So walking is a great option, allowing you to take in the local area and see things you may not have seen from the back seat of a taxi.

Your tip about taking a car to the floating market is a good one, or indeed to any of the sights….you can choose when you want to go and how long you want to stay. Our Personal Assistants can arrange this at any time.

On behalf of the team, we wish you a very Happy New Year and hope you equally enjoyed your trip to Phuket!

Best regards,
The Team at Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Bangkok.

Stayed there for 5 days from the 13 till 17th Dec 2012. What else can I say? Trip advisor reviews was definitely spot on for Pan Pac Bangkok. A perfect residence for a short or long stay, for business or leisure, no other words to describe other than nostalgic and unforgettable. Located at Thonglor, a place where most Japanese expatriates stay. Although it may not have a centralised location as compared to those near the famous shopping malls like Platinum malls, Siam square, Siam Paragon, MBK etc, its worth the stay, every single night. Room is designed to ur needs, service staff are fantastic, credit have to be given to their impeccable service, their good spoken English, their never say "no" attitude, the way they would listen out to my request and try to provide alternatives other then saying no. Credit has to be given to the respective service staff, namely Boby, Don, Haruka and Pla. A new dimension of service level given compared to other 5 stars hotels which I have stayed in previously. Very very personalised service from them. it made me feel that I could always rely on them and never get lost in Bangkok. Zero language barrier. Such perfect service! Fellow Singaporeans should not hesitate to stay there. There is a perfect guest lounge to relax with a game of pool, swimming pool an free beverages there. Bed is of super king size that is comfortable after a long day of shopping. There is a 24 hour supermarket well designed with all the necessary stuffs to buy back to the room. A 24 hr cafe too located within the same building. Thonglor has many fantastic restaurants like Gyu Kaku, Nobu, Water Library (Fine dining) and the concept and design of the buildings are so beautiful. I would be going back to this hotel for my future stay, a definite thing!

Dear “MarcusLSB1982”,

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. Our team enjoys the interaction with our guests, and takes pride in being able to help them settle in and so it really is appreciated that you have noticed this!

Cities develop over time, as do the needs of visitors. There is no longer the need (or desire!) to follow the crowd and return to the CBD where the traffic is heavy and the feel could be the same as any other major international city, especially when there are alternatives that allow you to get closer to the real vibe of the city. Thonglor has its own unique feel with such a range of restaurants, both casual and local (example, the local Duck Noodle shop!), as well as high end and exquisite (example, Water Library as you mentioned).

On behalf of the team, we wish you a prosperous 2013 and very much hope that you will visit us again soon!

Best regards,
The Team at Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Bangkok.

We jumped around a bit in Thailand so we ended up in a LOT of different hotels. But this one by far was the best. It actually had a kitchen (not a full one by American standards, but easily by Euro standards). We were able to go downstairs to the grocery and get things to prepare our own breakfast. It is a little bit of a walk to the main road with all the action, but this place was well worth the money. It was clean and beautiful and comfortable. I would recommend to anyone.

Dear “Team P”

It is always very pleasing to hear such positive feedback! Thank you very much for taking the time to post your review.

It takes about 15 minutes to walk down to the BTS, which gives you the chance to see what is around the property and the area. Did you notice, down near the BTS, Bangkok’s best Mango shop? It is a haven for Thailand’s best known dish “Mango Sticky Rice” and people come from all over the city to try it!

We do hope you will be back in Bangkok sometime soon and we will have the chance to welcome you to Pan Pacific again.

Best regards,
The Team at Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Bangkok

The best compliment we can give to Pan Pacific is, "our 3 year old son called it home". We had been travelling a bit before reaching Thailand. Our son was not interested in staying the hotel rooms but at Pan Pacific, he wanted to go back "home". Staff very courteous and efficient, facilities perfect for a "home away from home".
Excepting for a small issue with the house keeping regarding stained linen the experience has been wonderful. Front desk waived the charges after explaining them that the stains were not due to our usage.
We did not use the spa but the swimming pool, jacuzzi are good. They have good common room with snooker table, gym etc. 8 Thonglor next door has a small play area for toddlers.
Overall it was a wonderful experience and we wish to go back and spend a longer time.

Room Tip: We stayed for 3 nights in a 1-bed room suite. It was perfect for a couple with one kid.

Dear “Gopalav”,

High praise indeed! What a lovely comment and we are delighted your son enjoyed his stay. He is welcome “home” any time he likes!

As a family the shopping mall downstairs would have been great, not just for the play area, but the 24 hr supermarket and a choice of many restaurants that also cater to families, so you would not have needed to go far in the evening!

We will look forward to welcoming you all back when next you come to stay.

We arrived at 2:00 AM. The staff were very good and friendly. They upgraded us to a suite. When we opened the door the accommodation blew us away. One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. There was a fridge, kettle, microwave and other necessities so one could be able to do some food preparation if desired. Check in and out was very easy. We did not venture out at night as. We had a tour guide for a day and a half, so were too tired to go out.

Dear “Patricia M”,

Thank you so much for your positive feedback! We really appreciate it when our guests love the property…as people are travelling more often and further afield (and arriving late at night like yourself!) this type of suite is just great as you can really make it your own space straight away.

Best regards, and hopefully we will see you again when you next visit Bangkok,

The 2 bedroom serviced suite was EXCELLENT! Amazing space with high quality furnishing and interior. The location is perfect for those who are in their mid-twenties with a good disposable income. Right in the middle of Thonglor, the location cannot get any better for those searching for a trendy, happening location away from the dirt of Bangkok. Only a few minutes walk away you can reach the best clubs and bars frequented by models and celebrities. Stayed the entire week, and its perfect! There is a 24 hour mart/restaurant downstairs. It really is good. I would suggest the guy selling fried chicken across the street by 711 as well fo some munchies. The pool wasn't as nice tho but it was good!

Dear “Harry K”,

Thank you for the great review…this area is such a hive of activity there is almost too much choice. It sounds like you had a great time and that’s really good to hear!

With regards to the pool, I wonder if this was during the period of heavy rains? Unfortunately with the stormy weather we had to remove the cushions and towels for fear they may blow away. I am sorry of this affected your enjoyment of the pool area.

We very much hope to see you again soon.

Best regards,
The Team at Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Bangkok.

Pan Pac is a wonderful place, made even better by the staff. We had a great experience. The rooms are nice, and the club lounge is wonderful especially if you have kids.

The only down side is it is about 10 minutes walk or 15 minutes with kids from the BTS station and the traffic around Sukhumvit is terrible. Apart from that a great place to stay.

The only negative comment I could make is that they charge 30 baht to deliver ice to the room...give me a break...what 5 star hotel charges to deliver ice ?

Dear “mikeinsingapore”,

Thank you for the positive feedback, I am really pleased you liked the property and appreciated the service from our associates.

There is a shuttle service that runs between Pan Pacific and the BTS, great for rainy days if you don’t fancy the short walk….and ideal if you are a family with young children! I hope you managed to use this service during your stay.

Your point regarding the provision of ice is taken on board, thank you.

Best regards,
The Team at Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Bangkok.
