Hi my name is John Wu and I have been coming to Bangkok for years with my family. Now my children have grown up and moved to California so that just leaves my wife and I alone in Bangkok.
When we come here its usually in the last 1/4 of the year for my work is a very busy period. Normal I stay at the Hyatt near the Siam@Siam Hotel . The food is just plain Awesome to describe but when someone told us about Siam@Siam Hotel my wife and I seemed excited to see this Hotel . Finally we arrived without any reservation and on entry the Party House one was fabulous we stayed there for a drink or 2 I think we had Japanese beer . Finally one of the Funky waitress told us to have dinner up on the Roof . Now since it was our Wedding Anniversary The Roof restaurant seemed Elegant with the passion of Bangkok lights all around. However the French Restaurant just had the Ambiance where I could fall in love with my wife over and over again. We a two glasses of House wine and the service was excellent even better than the Californian Boutique hotels Finally we got the menu and the Menu seemed pretty bland with no flavor . I called to speak with the Chef . and this young fellow came to our table and offered us some new food i never heard of but seemed very french because it was our Anniversary night i trusted the kitchen team. Finally my wife and I received our food and wow weeee ...We were astonished by the presentation and Food was just to delicious , A fresh watermelon salad the chef explained it originated from Greece but spread through the Mediterranean. The Red wine marinated Lamb chops with Lemon saffron Risotto was just out of this world. my wife and I had a gorgeous evening. Thank you to the Staff the young Chef and we will be back to stay next year this time for our first time at Siam@Siam Hotel... I recommend it for the youth and for people who love food with fascinating flavorful to life Siam has it all.
