“Luxurious but a bit noisy.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013 via mobile

Room was lovely and everything in pristine condition.Gorgeous shower and compact bathroom.Tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and TV.Air con. quiet. On the downside the street noise is difficult to ignore and the soundproofing in the room is poor meaning that you hear every sound from the other rooms and from people moving around in the corridors.Overall a lovely room spoiled by the racket!!

Ever since i read reviews about S Sukhumvit Suites on TA, i wanted to stay here on my second visit We booked the deluxe room for 2300 bhat inclusive of taxes and BF and as soon as we entered our room, we loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!! The room ( 406) was clean, spacious.and the AC temperature was perfect.
Complimentary tea/coffee and 2 water bottles in the room. The bed was so comfortable to fall on after a tiring day that you just don't feeling like getting out of your bed ;)

However, the breakfast was too disappointing as there is no variety and they served same stuff everyday. Also, the water in the shower either gets too hot or too cold making it difficult to have a warm water shower.Overall a good place to stay close to the bts with excellent staff.

Taxi fare from airport was around 220 B + 50 B ( Airport surcharge) + 75 B( Toll)=345B
Hotel to airport was around 220 meter fare + 75B toll . No airport surcharge 50B while going back to the airport from city

Also, you can exchange your currency at Vasu exchange ( Under Nana BTS) which offers best rates compared to others in Sukhumvit

Room Tip: We stayed in room no 406 which was spacious and facing the bts which didnt matter to us as we didnt...

The location of the hotel is perfect for a tourist or businessman/woman on a budget visiting Bangkok. It is located near Asok BTS and Sukhumvit Metro Station. It is located opposite the mall Terminal 21, and a Seven Eleven right around the corner.

The down side are that the rooms are small, but we just used them to crash after a night of partying so it did not matter to us. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and room service was good.

This hotel is PERFECTLY situated! Next door to the metro stop and just a short distance to the SkyTrain so you can literally get anywhere in BKK within minutes! My room was large and spacious and the staff were super friendly. I couldn't recommend this place more. I paid slightly more than I had wanted to: 2000 baht as opposed to 1500 which I wanted to spend but it was definitely worth it.

The location is ideal as it's near to Terminal 21 and Asok BTS is just a few stops away from other shopping areas. However, the room's sound proofing is poor and you can hear people talking along the corridor or closing (not even slaming) their room doors. If your room window faces the main street, you'll be constantly reminded of its heavy traffic as well. On weekends, your bedtime 'lullaby' may be pumping techno/dance music from some place nearby or passing vehicles.

Oh yes...I have to agree that the erratic water heater can be improved too. The flooring on the shower area can be also quite slippery for some users.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms on the 2nd level - especially those that face the main street unless you're a heavy...

Can't go wrong with a hotel that has the "Recommended by Trip Advisor" sticker on the entrance door!

Was pleasantly suprised with this hotel. Another plus is that its located literally 20 steps away from the Bangkok Sky Train.

The room is really small, the photos makes the room bigger than it actually is.
The aircon is not very cool so it feels constantly warm in the room. In addition, the heater is slightly wonky so it either becomes too hot, or too cold with every minor adjustment.

Only plus point is the location - close to BTS and just across the road from Terminal 21, where you can find really good food at low prices at the food court.
T21 has a really nice cinema too, and for singaporeans - it's less than half the price of what you would pay in SG :)

Overall, I would pay a little more for a bigger space and better air conditioned room. Unless you are on budget and want to stay really close to a station / walk to a big mall, I do not recommend you picking this hotel.
