“Clean no-fuss great transit hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2014

Arrived without a booking, based on just the tripadvisor reviews. No fuss, quick registration for an overnight transit. 60 THB by taxi from the airport which is about 10 mins away. Good price for the rooms, which came with a flat screen TV, and kitchenette with fridge, towels, and clean, comfortable double beds.

In-rooms Thai massage for a good price, also the room-service dining. Great alternative to sleeping in the airport (!) and that really pricey Loius Tavern CIP lounges which may not be available at the time you want it. (I've checked it out). Transit fee to be paid to the airline when you come back to check-in is 700 THB. Price of stay includes free WIFI (stable and good), room, airport transfers (on the hour bus shuttle). Occasional noise from flights but after 11 pm (no noise) except for new travelers checking in.

This was my third time to stay at Regent hotel. Close to Lat Krabang airport link station. 35 bht by taxi meter. The pick up service were always on time. Room was okay. Free wifi in the room was good. But the breakfast is really poor.
Only one girl can speak English at the reception. She's really nice and helpfull , after she's off from work, there's no one can speak English. Is very shame. Most of the guest who stay here are foreigner , not only Thai people .

I chose the Regent Suvarnabhumi to bridge a 12 hour gap between a flight arriving from Europe and my connecting flight to Australia. I really liked this hotel for the following reasons:
- Pick-up and drop-off between hotel and airport at no extra charge (and it worked fine, I had no problems locating the hotel representative at the airport)
- Very clean and comfortable room, bed has a firm mattress (important for me), the bathroom though small is totally adequate for the purpose ; the kitchenette was a nice feature but was more than I needed.
- Wifi included
- Massage services (shop or in-room; extra charge) - very professional
- Close to a shopping centre (5-10 mins walk) where there is a choice of restaurants/cafés: a few Thai and Japanese places but also Starbucks and Maccas, if you really must...
I found the staff really friendly and helpful, and language was not a problem at all. I also appreciated that despite the hotel being so close to the airport, there wasn't really any noise from landing and starting aircraft .
In short - the hotel is excellent value for transit or a stopover.

Pick up and drop off between the hotel and airport made things easy. The meeting point instructions could be clearer for first time travellers at the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed having a meal and some beers at the restaurant and all of the staff were friendly and willing to assist. Overall a pleasant stay.

This hotel was clean, quiet and ideal for catching up on sleep for 12 hours between flights. Excellent value for money. Including free wi fi, pick up and drop off and breakfast Only $NZ45. I would stay here again. :)

I used the Suvarnabhumi Hotel for a day during my transit at Bangkok. It was just a 10 mins drive from the airport. The hotel was clean and tidy. The breakfast spread was really good. The massage they offer is very professional and relaxing. The only difficulty is the language. Not all the staffs were good enough in English. However, manageable. There were also lot of restaurants very close to the hotel. In short, a good place for a quick stay.

Room Tip: The top floor seems to be good.

Probably the worst hotel I've stayed in over the last 10 years of travel.
Hard beds with plastic mattress covers - I hate to think why.
Horrible food at the restaurant. We decided to go hungry. Even the rice was ordinary.
Rattling air conditioning - noisy enough to keep me awake most of the night.
And the worst part is that there are massage offers in the room which imply this really is a hotel for business travelling men - ick.
I can't imagine why everyone else seems to think this place is ok.
