“Oasis in Busy Bangkok”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2012

This is lovely oasis in a busy section of Bangkok. When you are on the small grounds of the hotel, you really feel removed from the hectic and often grimey nature of Bangkok. The staff is very attentive and helpful, and speak english. Our room was spacious and well decorated; the bathroom was a beautiful mix of modern and traditional design. The included breakfast each morning included marvelous and interesting local fresh fruit - passion fruit and dragon fruit were among the interesting things we tried. The hotel is in a safe neighborhood, and is a 5 minute walk to the nearest Skytrain station. This is a good location from which to explore Bangkok!
Bonus Tip: One of the pick up points in Bangkok for The Flight of the Gibbons rainforest zipline tour is at the Ariyasomvilla, and is not to be missed for the adventuresome

A wonderful, initimate little oasis in central Bangkok. We arrived and got upgraded for free to a large suite with fuit basket and drinks - the attention to detail is amazing and the place is just gorgeous, kingsize bed, lovely linen - we didn't want to go out! The food is stunning and the friendly owner is on hand to give advice for menu choice. Our only regret was that we only stayed for one night! I cannot recommend this beautiful place highly enough - stay here if you have the chance!!

I booked this hotel from the reviews that I read here on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had a magnificent two night stay at Ariyasomvilla. We had booked a studio room and I was worried it might be on the small side but was very pleasantly surprised to see that in fact it had a balcony, a sofa and a huge bathroom! The room was spotless and was beautifully decorated and arranged. The staff were incredibly helpful and the food in the restaurant was terrific. The Soi that the hotel is situated on is very long but once at the end it is very easy to access the Skyrail and all of Bangkok. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we shall certainly be back again when we are passing through Bangkok.

Ariyasom is a splendid oasis of calm in the busy city fo Bangkok. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the start of our 3 week holiday in December and again at the end for 1 night before flying home. Rooms are large, beds very comfortable , bathroom spacious with a powerful shower.
Cant say enough about the quality of the food, both at breakfast and dinner. Fresh, expertly prepared and served.
Staff all very helpful. Will remember their smiling faces for a long time.. David is a great host and runs an exceptional hotel.

Spent two nights at the Arihasomvilla in January 2012. The hotel is in a great location about 200 meters off Sukhomvit. Short walk to the Ploenchit station on the Bangkok Skytrain system, so a very easy location to use as a base for touring the city. Room was perfect - hardwood floors, high ceilings, king bed, great garden bath, balcony overlooking the pool and outside dining area. Elevators in the bedroom building are super quiet, a very nice touch. Breakfast was terrific, service perfect. Our early Saturday taxi ride was arranged by the hotel, took 25 minutes and cost less than 300 baht. We'd recommend without hesitation.

The pictures of this hotel do not do it justice. We stayed here 4 nights over Christmas and it was such a special experience. Amazing decor, food, pool and staff. They even left us a Christmas stocking filled with thai goodies on Christmas day. After being out and about exploring Bangkok, it was so nice to come back to this oasis. I was also impressed with the breakfast included in the rate. The restaurant is delicious, a little pricey, but worth it. Such a charming boutique hotel, perfect for couples, highly recommend it!!!
