Stay at vie hotel for 4 nights during aug for my birthday trip.Booked 2 room & one of the room start to have some noise due to the water piping system & we are unable to sleeping. Hence we request to change of room. The manager told us the room are fully booked for the night & decided to give us 2 free breakfast for the next morning. But the thing is my reservation already included 2 breakfast & I had paid for.We are more concern about the noise from the room & a good night sleep. After a round of question & request the manager given us a suite for a night but we are suppose to move out from the room after 1 night. Fully booked as mention by the duty manager & now there is a room avaliable???
Here comes the nightmare, we are tired & decided to have a shower & go to bed with the new room. in the mid of the shower @ 1am, the lights just went off! not just my room but is the whole hotel! We called the front desk & they told us it is a power faulty & it will be back soon. There is no air con & it is in a complete darkness. The other guest on the same floor with me was in shock as most of them are already sleeping & wake up by this incident & unable to get back to sleep due to no aircon ventilation. From 1 am we wait until almost 3am before the lights & aircon came back. 2 long HRS in darkness & no air con & the next day, no apologies from the front desk or any letter of apology from the managment regarding this blackout. It feel like nothing had happen over the night!
The next day, we like to make a reservation at a spa downtown, hence I went to the front desk to request them to help me to make a call & arrange it, As the person on the other line do not really understand english & I can't speak thai. After telling the front desk the suitation, to my surprise the guy at duty at front desk pass the phone to me after dialing & walk away & leave me in embarrassment over the call! & this happen not just one day, but 2 days of my trip & is the same guy at front desk on duty.
Was very disappointed by the whole managnment which uphold accor label as a five star boutique hotel. The hotel do not provide the most basic which is hospitality service to their guest. I have stay in accor hotel for most of my travel to bangkok from novotel, ibis, pullman & this is the 1st time I expected such service from accor.
