“My Best Italian Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

i've returned to rossini's many times since the last review and in 2013, we went on valentine's, the Italian wine dinner in March, and lastly on 25 april. always good to go back and see Khun tum and his crew, old, new, and visiting staff. we generally go there to see the crew as well as enjoy the wine (at retail prices) and the atmosphere. we enjoy the food less not because what's on offer is bad (it's anything but that!), but because we've been there too often and we sometimes just order off menu. the team obliged with special requests and i can hardly remembered being disappointed.

there are times when the service can be quite not up to their usual standard due to guests showing up unexpectedly though i cant really complain cos we are not in a hurry to eat and go. we just sat back, picked on the staff passing by or whoever was filling our glasses, and watch the hustle bustle and take it easy.

i hear there's a new surprise coming in soon so i look forward to enjoy what they would be cooking for us. see you soon!

“Not for vegetarians”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

Was staying at the Sheraton and went to Rossini's for a postponed birthday dinner. Staff were unobtrusive, well spaced tables, and a very relaxed atmosphetre. Best experience of the night was the wine list - totally unexpected in Bangkok, with an excellent selection of both Italian and other old and new world wines, at more than reasonable prices. Sufficient reason alone to return there. However my partner, who is vegetarian, was extremely disappointed at the lack of choice for non meat eaters - or perhaps it was a lack of interest by the wait staff to suggest what could be made for a non meat eater. At this price level in Bangkok I'd expect some staff knowledge about food.

Dear diggadoo,

Thank you very much for choosing to dine at Rossini's and for the time that you have taken to write a review regarding your dining experience.

I am delighted to read of your positive and encouraging feedback on the food and services at Rossini's. However, I regret to read that we were unable to meet your partner's expectations on the vegetarian dining options. As a normal practice, our hostess will normally ask when taking a reservation whether there are any special requests for the reservation in order to ensure that our team will be able to provide our guests withe a memorable dining experience. For your future visits, we are confident that we can blow your partner away with a wide range of choice with a little advanced notice. Once again, thank you for your feedback as we we take it does provide us with the information as to where we will be able to improve our services.

My team and I look forward to the next pleasant opportunity of welcoming you back for a memorable dining experience at Rossini's.

With Kind Regards,

“Great food, ambience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

Was looking for a place to eat on our last day in Bangkok. Decided to go for this trusted restaurant in Bangkok. Took the premium set meal but dropped the foil gras in favor of the scallops from the cheaper set menu. Best choice ever. Never a fan of foie gras anyway. Main of beef tenderloin was fantastic, comparable to some of the best steakhouses back in Singapore. Wine choices were aplenty and went well with the food.

Service was great. Had a nice cozy corner near the 'fireplace'. Would come back again if we are back in Bangkok!

“Quality food at a quality venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013 via mobile

The Sunday brunch at Rossini's is a must in Bangkok! From the wide range of scrumptious food to the impeccable service, Rossini's is a top notch experience. Our server Ying went above and beyond that reminded me of high level service in America. I recommend Rossini's to not only travelers but to locals as well.

“Good Business Lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

Rossini is a good place for business lunch. The business lunch menu is simply yet effective. Sometime it gas the good portion of filet mignon which is well prepared. Service is good. There also has a good wine list as they try very hard to promote their Primo Vino program.

Dear wachi60,

May I thank you for choosing to dine with us at Rossini's and also for your feedback shared regarding our Business Lunch Menu.

I am happy to read that you find our Business Lunch menu "simple yet effective." We offer five Power Lunch menus for our diners to choose from during lunch and it is a great pleasure to read that you enjoy our filet mignon. Moreover, I am glad to read that you enjoy our wine selection from the primoVino wine list. With the "primoVino by Rossini's" concept, guests are able to enjoy to shelf wines, either by glass or bottle, at cellar prices. Your compliments regarding the customer service level had been shared with the team and they appreciate the recognition that you have given.

We all look forward to welcoming you back to Rossini's for another memorable dining experience.

With Kind Regards,
