“Stylish interiors, with inspired Chinese cuisine.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

Stunningly good Cantonese cuisine, housed in one of the coolest restaurant spaces in Bangkok.

This has to be the most stylish and sophisticated Chinese-themed restaurant in Thailand, where not only the architecture and interior design are truly inspired, but, the cookery, service and wine list all come together magically close to form perfection. The attention to details is impressive, every inch is thought through. (Love the mirrors over top of the banquettes!)

I went for a luncheon during the week; it was not terribly busy, but, I imagined this place is a real scene at night, especially, on weekends. This is an absolute must visit establishment (in my humble opinion, it is Mandarin Oriental Bangkok's best dining venue). Even if you do not like Chinese cuisine, just visiting to experience the restaurant space is worth it, as you can always sip a Martini or two, and relax in a hip space.

“Great Chinese meal well worth the visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

We had a very enjoyable night at this restaurant, we were seated in a booth that provided a lovely private atmosphere, the food was excellent. No need to over order as the servings were very generous
Well worth the visit and will go again

“China Syndrome”

Excellent restaurant but I will take Thai food over Chinese any time. Great feel and environment and no complaints with the food but again when in Rome.....

“The Best Chinese ever !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

Incredible food, very well presented, with a perfect service in a remarkable setting (red ambiance decoration, traditional clothes for the employees, service and explanations in English,...). The price range is fairly acceptable with menus from US$ 60,00 ... to US$ 400,00(...). We wanted to experience laqued-duck and an assortment of appetizers (pork, seafood), and a very simple chicken noodles. Beautiful. A place to go to !

“A great traditional fancy Chinese”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

One of my fave restaurants for Chinese in bangkok
It's located at the mandarin oriental hotel.
The food is a little fancy but also very traditional with it.. It is one of the best Peking duck I've ever had and the char siew pork is amazing (portion size is not huge) we always have the second course of duck in lettuce cups and the beef in black pepper is beautifully flavoured and mouth wateringly tender.
The shrimp in garlic are juicy and tender and the fried shrimp with wasabi are deliciously crispy and not dry at all...
This is not your everyday Chinese rather a nice night out or a special occasion
But the food is fantastic
