“A bit disappointing.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2012

I stayed at this Hotel for 5 nights in May 2011. It was a bit misleading at first, since they have the old and new blocks. The new block is more clean than the old one. Found it difficult to communicate with staff but they where polite and friendly. It was a bit far and the taxi took time to locate it. The entrance to the property was shabby and narrow. The BTS Punnawithi Station was the nearest to the hotel. The rate was cheap, hence the room decor too and food was average.

Room Tip: Room on the new block are better

Friendly staff, with lacking english skills though. Walking distance to sky train stops with good connections to all over town.

I stayed at this Hotel for two weeks in January 2012; It is Convenient in name only. I found the desk staff to be more ornamental that effective with a poor understanding of English. Like most Thai they had a polite attitude but a reluctance to actually do anything about any request. The hotel itself is too far from the centre of Bangkok if the city is the main reason for your visit. If you try to stay out after the sky train stops running taxis were unwilling without a hefty tip to travel that far out of the city.
The rooms are very basic, the food less so, but what is on offer is well cooked. This hotel does have a few good points, the price is reasonable, and for use during the day the sky train is only a minutes’ walk. For me, this hotel only works if you need to be nearer the airport than the centre of Bangkok and for a short stay only.

Room Tip: I stayed in the "new part" of the hotel.

It's probably wise to avoid this hotel altogether, no matter how attractive the rates might be. It's totally not worth the hassle you got to go through. I won't say much as everything that needed to be said already have, so go ahead try it if you want to waste your time traveling and putting up with all kind of crap in a fabulous city like BKK where time is simply too short to waste except on shopping, massages, eating and sightseeing.

I was stayed there 4 nights (Mar 07 to Mar 11 2012). Far away to shopping areas (Siam Paragon, Indra Market, Platunam market etc....). Eventhough the BTS is closer to hotel, you have to pass 11 stations to SIAM and price is 35 bath for each. Trains are also crowded (don't expect any seats). You have to do all your shopping in one stretch and don't have time to come to hotel and go again (Since it’s far from shopping malls).

I am not satisfied with the service specially the cashier in the café. Not Friendly (She treat us like you stay there for free of charge).

Area is very old and you cannot find any small café to eat something. Only there market point is BTS Station.

Please don’t tryout. Find out another place

5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2011

We don't usually go online to reserve a room. But this time, it was a good call. We stayed at Convenient Park for two weeks. We paid about 650 baht for a night which included the breakfast buffet. FYI: THE PRICE VARIES EVERYDAY. SOME DAYS IT'S ONLY 600 BAHT, SOME DAYS IT'S 750 BAHT. The room was huge (for that price...at least) and clean. Our room has a balcony... We stayed at the Old Wing building. The Overall appearance was very good.

Now, let me talk to you about their breakfast buffet.. To die for! I mean... We both have been travelling for 2 years now.. and for us to have unlimited access to bacon and omelette.. and other things like fried chicken, fried rice etc.... IT FELT LIKE HEAVEN ON EARTH every morning.

I will give a two thumps way up for this hotel. Definitely recommend.

Room Tip: If you are staying at the Old Wing.. stay on a high floor. There is a school right next to the hotel...
