“You are a winner...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 days ago NEW

I stayed at Citadines soi 8 for a month with my wife and 7 months old son. This place is a winner not only for their services but they won our heart as well.

This is a well maintained property with all necessary amenities. The rooms are cleverly designed with a very good taste and quality.

The staff here are real asset who make this property unique. Julie, Phai, and Tom are among the ones who made our stay very pleasant. They are excellent.

You cannot ask for an ideal location than this, Nana BTS station, departmental stores, restaurants, bars, shopping malls and many more are located just a few steps away.

Highly recommended for a family stay.

Room Tip: High floor rooms are good.

I have been many times to the fabulous BKK and I ALWAYS choose this area of BKK (someone can disagree of course)…Close to fun, close to metro and, like 99% of hotels here, close to markets, 7 eleven and everything…last part is even useless because there are so many shops and minimarkets that is practically impossible ending up in an area without…The hotel is in the street close to the main road but not so close (who cares if you are on holiday!) .. closest metro stations are Asoke and Nana , Soi cowboy is 5 min walking. The room was very nice, like a small apartment, is guest friendly, not a big hall like others but is not my priority. There is also a cart service but I never used It. Recommend absolute value for money, not luxury but great experience.

It's a good journey to stay in sukhumvit soi 8 citadines. The room is clean and quiet. The people working here is very kind and nice. I can't remember all of them but Gae, julia, jib and Tom. I appreciate all of them to help me a lot. I will come back and introduce it to all my friends. Good luck everybody!

We stayed here with another family for 3 nights each in the 2 bedder. Firstly, they wanted to charge us for breakfast when we told them our hotel package included it ie we chose the extra option of having breakfast. They then realised that they forgot to give us the breakfast vouchers opon check-in. That was a bad start to the hotel stay. The staff were not friendly, especially one of the ladies. When I asked for extra pillows she gave a disgusted look and said..oh we cannot guarantee u can have so many pillows. I asked for 4 as there were 4 of us and the hotel only had 1 pillow for every person. Breakfast was not bad and quite substantial althought there were limited choices. The good part is the location which is not too far Nana station and the fact that the free tuk tuk was always there to take us to the station. Yes it can be a bit noisy due to the bara downstairs but we were tired so could sleep soundly. All in all I feel that more can be done in terms of customer service. The front line staff look so sullen and unhappy to work there. No smiles at all. It was quite disappointing to see that when we arrived at the supposedly ' land of smiles'? We will think twice about staying here in future.

I was there for 2 months studying in Bangkok and the Citadines was the bomb. Location is in the center of everything. Room service was outstanding, always on time and flexible. I am not sure the name of the women and young man that clean the 7th floor on Tues/Thurs/Sat but they are great. Along with them, Ja, Jip, Cae, Erug, Julie and Tom were all very helpful.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2015

Checked in the 2 bedrooms apartment on 17th feb and checked out on 20th. Pleasant stay. Quiet place that a distance to go out from the soi 8 but can take the tuk-tuk anytime from the hotel to the outside soi 8 and during night time, the tuk-tuk moves quite frequently. We never called up the hotel for the pick up but managed to wait for the tuk-tuk when we on our way walk back to the hotel. The apartment quite okay with 2 bath rooms and kitchen, we made our breakfast everyday during our stay. Just in the living room, the sofa smell awfully, but is okay cause we seldom spend time around there. During the check-out in the early morning, we missed place the money on the dining table and we realized it when we reached airport. Anyhow, we managed to get it back after called back to the hotel and asked help from them. They are really helpful staffs. Definitely will go back to the Citadines range of hotels when we go back to Bangkok, would like to try others branch of Citadines in Bangkok since there are four of them in Sukhumvit area.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2015

Stayed from January 23-26, 2015. Stayed in Studio Executive Apartment. A long-established service apartment hotel, Citadines Skhumvit 8 is the perfect location for those looking to be in the centre of Bangkok yet have a quiet oasis away from the hustle & bustle of Bangkok. Located at the end Soi Sukhumvit 8 in a residential neighbourhood where there are adequate convenience shops, eateries and massage joints to serve the weary traveller. The hotel provides free tuk-tuk service to Nana BTS station located on the main road. If you choose to walk from the hotel to the BTS station it will take a leisurely 7-10 minutes. Nana BTS station is connected to most of the major shopping districts in Bangkok Positives - Friendly and helpful front desk staff and housekeeping crew; well maintained facilities despite the age of the property; a small roof top dipping pool to cool off with a gym attached; adequate buffet breakfast to help you get through the day; and my favourite quality - it was quiet at night. Things to improve - I guess it would have to be the little details such as better upkeep of furnishings and electrical appliances (Note : these were minor and did not affect the overall quality of stay). If I visit Bangkok again, I will certainly stay here again.

Room Tip: Higher floor rooms appear to be quieter.
