Stayed for one night in the hotel . You had to use the room key to access your rooms which seems to be common place amonst all of the Bangkok hotels.
Check in was quick and efficient.
The rooms were a bit plain and institutional but nice selection of toileteries and liked the DVD player in the room.
Breakfast as has been commented before was basic with not a large selection of choices and portions small.
They have a coffee shop with a terrace attached to the hotel and this was good.
The stay was perfectly reasonable until I and a good selection of the other guests were awoken in the morning by one of the guests who was running around the hotel for 20 minutes screaming, shouting , banging on doors etc .
Having worked in the hotel trade for 10 years before switching trades I have dealt with my fair share of drunks.
He should never have been allowed into the lift by himself . He should have been politley and firmly taken to his room and put inside. Security should then have stayed outside for 5 minutes to ensure that he stayed in his room.
If he became abusive / aggressive give him one warning and iff he does not improve call the police.
It wa bad enough being awoken in the morning by him but what I do not understand was that he was being admonished by the management in the restaurant in plain view of the guests.
He should have been taken to one of the meeting rooms and told to pay for the damage that he caused ( if any ) and told to check out of the hotel with immediate effect.
It was not handled well at all.
