I was staying there for 3 nights on 17 - 20 November 2013.
The room is big in fact i was upgraded and getting a room with 2 beds (1 king size bed and 1 single bed), so with the money that i paid, it is really a good deal if traveling for 3 persons. I was traveling only with my husband so the extra bed for me has no benefit.
Amenities are standard (slippers, cotton buds, shower caps, soap, toilet papers, facial tissue hand towel and bath towel).
hotel located quite centrally but really not a choice if you want to go by walk to certain famous location such as Central Worlds, Platinum Mall, Siam Paragon, Pratunam Market. you need to at least hop on taxi or tuk tuk to reach the shopping complex. I was told by hotel staff, we can reach Platinum Mall only by 10 minutes walk, in fact I walked from Platinum back to hotel for more than 15 minutes still can't reach the hotel which end up we took taxi because we were tiring of walking already.
Breakfast is average but don't go down late, as we went down quite late for 1 day (9.15 AM) everything is finished and when I ask hotel staff if the finish food (sausages, potato, vegetable, fruit, banana cake) will be replenish? hotel staff just simply told me no replenish, only serve the remaining food. Was so angry already by this point.
The worst is the service on the front desk. I was check out to go to Don Mueng Airport in the morning by around 8 Am (my flight was 11.25) I was recommended by my friends to prepare at least 3 hours earlier to prevent the bad traffic in the morning. When i ask hotel help to call me for meter taxi, the front desk staff (a young guy and a women) they were just simply ask me to go walk to 7-11 to get taxi there. I had argued with staff saying that how could you ask me to walk with my heavy luggage, yet the staff with annoying face insisted me to go walk outside of hotel to get the taxi. I was so mad and keep insisted to ask them to get me a taxi.
Finally after both of us were arguing, the lady called up a taxi for me but with so unhappy face. I was so mad and promise to myself that i will never come back to this hotel anymore.
There was no porter to help you on bringing your luggage from taxi to hotel front desk too when the first time we checked in.
The hotel is not famous too, so when we took taxi, it was quite a hard time for taxi driver to locate the hotel since the hotel is not located by the main road (inside a complex)
The service has ruin all my happiness in Bangkok. Will not recommend for those who care for service and bathroom is just average (the hot water take some times to heat)
