“No aircon hotel?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW via mobile

I really want to know why your hotel don't on the aircon? Though it may be cold outside but within the room is hot and stuffy. We called so many times to feedback but you told us that other customer complain that they feel cold and that's why you off the central aircon. But what about us? We told you that the 2 of us here have asthma yet you just tell us there's nothing you can do?

This hotel mostly stayed by Japanese Tourists and the staffs here can speak well Japanese. We have a problem when we checked in a room in level 3 as the carpet of the room is wet and seems like somewhere is leaking and the hotel staff immediately send the technician to our room to fix the problem and help us change to a deluxe room on the next day. A big thumb to them and impressed with the way they solve the issues. We had 4 days breakfast in the Hotel, they serve variety of fruits juice and simple breakfast, not much changes on the type of foods during the 4 days stay and the ground floor of the hotel has a spacious study room, you can enjoy your study over here and i like the design so much too bad, i dont have time to enjoy this facilities. There is a convenient shop besides the Hotel and 7-11 just opposite this hotel, dont have to worry about supper if you are hungry during midnight. Cons - its nearly 15-20 min from Zhongshan MRT station, 5th exit, its a disaster when you have a tiring day. The only way to go to the MRT station is by taxi if you prefer leisure travel else you have to walk.

Room Tip: Go for Deluxe room, bigger than superior room and you have place to put your luggage.

When we entered the hotel lobby, its looks modern yet small.
When we reached our room, I felt the layout was great and comfortable.
I particularly like the toilet seat, warm my butt when I sit on it… ha ha ha!
It’s electronic operated and the panel is on the wall.
They have a Jacuzzi bathtub, fantastic!
Breakfast – good!
We had a set lunch – great!
15mins walk to the “Raohe” night market.
You can find many eateries nearby.
If you want the famous pineapple tarts – “Chia Te”, the shop is about 20 mins walk.
For directions & assistants – ask the reception staff.
Free wi-fi.
Great stay!

This was my second time in Taipei and I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was very neat and clean, and the location was very central and easy to get around. The staff are friendly and speak Japanese and English. Although my friend and I arrived a bit early, the staff let us check in and it was great. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable - I would definitely come back to stay. The shower and bath was amazing, good water pressure and nice bath to relax in after a day of walking. The breakfast was delicious too, they had a good selection and the omelet cooked to your request was also very tasty. The hotel has complimentary coffee and tea service in the lounge as well.

Stayed here for one night during business trip last month. Very very satisfying experience and I would definitely choose this hotel when I travel to Taiwan next time. Summary :
1) Room
Design is awesome! Nicely designed room with new amenities. Really comfy and due to the design, you would actually feel it's more spacious than it really is. Very modern design.

2) Food
I missed the buffet breakfast cuz I was rushing for an early flight. But the breakfast they packed for me was good.

3) Service
Good service. Packed breakfast for me to take on Taxi when I informed that I need to catch a super early flight.

4) Price
Very value for money.

Although not inexpensive, this is definitely a high-quality hotel in all respects. Our room provided all the comforts, had lots of room, and was quiet, blocking out street noise and a loud party down the hall. Breakfast (also not inexpensive) provided a wide array of selections, Asian and western. A night market is a few blocks away, and the nearest MRT station is fairly close (half a mile). The only downside: surprisingly limited English proficiency by staff, even at the front desk.

Room Tip: Higher floors have less street noise.

EVA Air put us up here for a 22 hour layover. It was nicer than I expected, but if we had booked it ourselves for more than a night I would've asked for a different room. Water damage on the wall and noticeably musty. However, bed was comfortable, water was hot and pressure was good, and the breakfast was decent. Hotel staff gave us a late checkout at 2 pm instead of noon.
