“Nice central located hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

Easily accesible to most parts of Taiwan, due to the close proximity of Taipei station.
You can visit most parts of Taiwan thru the bullet train or normal rail. Clusters of restaurants and shopping places all within walking distances. Ximending is also a stone throw away & walking distance to most attractions. The accomodation rates are quite ok too!

I booked this hotel because it was near the Taiwan Main Station. We had a flight to catch next morning so I need to take the earliest train to the airport. This hotel was more expensive than the Rainbow Hotel which we had previously stayed. It was about US$140.00 for triple room. The hotel had better quality than Rainbow Hotel but smaller.

I spent my last night in Taiwan at Cosmos due to its accessilbity to Taipei Main Station, the interchange of HSR, MRT, bus and train. Find exit M3 and the hotel is about 5 minutes walk away.

I booked a room with no window, as it was more economical and I was out for most of the time. But personally, I still feel that the room was a bit too small - not suitable for people who are claustrophobic.

It is also located beside the underground malls (think Raffles Place Exchange in Singapore), so you can do last minute shopping before leaving for airport.

As for the train noise, I did not hear as I requested for high floor. I was given 16th storey (17 floor in total).

In short, this hotel is suitable for all travellers who are looking for convenience as it is located just beside the transportation hub.

Room Tip: Request for high floor, ie 10th floor and above and you would probably be spared from the noisy stre...

We stayed in this hotel for only one night before taking a flight. We had booked a Superior Twin room through the hotel’s website for 3060 TWD, breakfast included.
At the reception area there was quite a lot of hotel staff taking care of everyone coming in so that you don’t need to wait for long before being attended. Since we could not yet access our room, we were offered to wait in the VIP-Lounge which we did to relax a bit. From there you have a nice view to the Taipei Station and can snack on cookies, apples or others.
We had asked for a nice room with a view, but we then received a room looking to the roof of the next building. Since we only stayed for one night, we did not argue, though.
The room itself was very spacious with a comfortable bed. In the bathroom there was an electric toilet, all necessary toiletries were provided.
Free W-LAN-access was provided in the room.
The breakfast was a buffet which was amazingly extensive. Mostly Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) style it was very diverse and is definitively worth a try.
Thanks to the direct access to the Taipei Station and also walking distance to the bus terminal for the airport shuttle, the hotel is a good choice for everyone who wants to be directly in the heart of Taipei.

after 2nights staying here, found this property got great location & amazing street always bustle & hastle but i always here the train noisy because there railway station but it does not mind for me. All facilities with modern & nice decoration. Additionally, it got a gym room for doing exercises as well, the location made me crazy causing easily hanging out for shopping & eating the local food at the local market not so far away from the hotel

Room Tip: they have gym, maybe all rooms get well-equipped

Return to stay at the same hotel for business trip after a good experience last vacation in June 2012. The location was excellent just next to the Taipei train station. Room and toilet clean and well maintained. My stay was offered with good breakfast mainly with asian food plus some western choices. Waffles was good. The hotel also offers free order of their famous Taiwan brand snacks and cakes. It was delivered to the door for pick-up. The gym facility was good too except that it actually open at 8 instead of 7.
