Before I booked this hotel, I had very little knowledge about it. The moment I checked in, I was very very surprised with the level of service offered.
Check-in was speedy and we were given a room near the elevator. As my wife is very sensitive to noise; I went down to the lobby and requested to change to a quieter room. Instead of the usual "no room" reply; I was advised that it might be possible but the new room will be a standard room instead of the deluxe version I am currently booked on. And guess what? We were offered a tour to see if we are ok with the alternative room. Upon acceptance, they even requested us to stay at the new room and have the all the transfer of keys, baggage arranged for us. We were pleasantly surprised.
The breakfast spread offered in the morning was good and of high quality.After breakfast, their courteous staff began clearing the table and setup multiple notebooks on the table for complementary internet access from 1030 onwards till late. And yes, their little cozy cafe does not offer lunch or dinner services.
We did had a little problem with the water heater. We were told that it takes awhile to heat up especially if there aren't many people using it. And for my wife, she finds the ambient lighting in the cafe and lounge area a little too dim for her.
Location is great too! Tucked in a quiet residential neighborhoods but within minutes to the subway station and the shopping district.
