I stayed at this hotel in May 2006 and really enjoyed the experience. The rooms was small but exremely well designed and appointed. There was free bottled water and a bowl of fresh fruit in the room at all times. The staff even swapped out bananas that turned a little brown with perfectly ripe ones each day. There were nice fresh flowers in the room as well as the bathroom at al times. If fact, nicely arranged flowers were to be found throughout the hotel, in the lobby, hallways, dining room, etc...
The lounge was well stocked with books, newspapers and magazines. The buffet breakfast was a very nice spread of breakfast and lunch choices, with lots of both Asian and Western choices.
The hotel is located in a fashionable area known for small boutiques, chic hair salons and fine restaurants, but is also close enough to large department stores if you prefer those. It is also within walking distance of the founding store of the famous Eslite Bookstore chain, where in the building you will find a branch of the very cool DragonFly design shop, a famous Taiwanese tea store, and many others shops.
