“Good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

Stayed 1 nite last week. Pretty standard 3 star hotel. But location is fantastic. Right at the center of city. Breakfast is good, not exceptional. Room is clean. But everyone should try the bubble tea/noodle restaurant right across the street (Choon Shui Toong). The noodles and bubble tea are out of the world.

I stayed at this hotel recently last month. The deluxe room is large and comfortable. Service was good and the free wifi really helped..since I was in Taipei on business. The only qualm I had was with the bathroom, which is glassed with tiny curtains, hence anyone in the room can view what is being done inside! Thank god I was alone.....
The other downside is the breakfast, every day its the same food! I found a really quaint coffee place just near to the hotel and this was my breakfast place for the week I was in Taipei.
The upside is that the hotel is near to some of the amenities and close to the Sun Yat Sen station.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are large

The "single room" that I booked is queen size bedroom, capable of a couple. The most embarrassing thing is that the curtains of bathroom cannot cover whole glass. Your partner can view exactly what you do on the toilet! Also, the air-conditioner does not directly face the bed, so the noise problem is acceptable. The free WiFi internet connection is very fast, and there are nearly 100 television channels, but overall decoration of hotel is quite outdated.

There is quite a lot of choice for breakfast, especially the fresh pineapple, congee with different seasonings and ingredients. Besides, overall service of people is warmly and very polite.

Sometimes I cannot distinguish the busy roads and shopping mall when I was in Taipei, Macau, and Hong Kong, because they are quite similar nowadays.

Room Tip: Try to choose a bigger room with better view.

I was staying in this hotel for 2 weeks. Can you imagine you have to eat the same breakfast each day?

However, the service and the customer service is good and friendly especially the door man are very friendly. They are helpful and informative. Even they are trainees, their attitude and behaviour towards work are amazing.

It is just 5 minutes walk from the SYS MRT station. Exit 2. It is very convenient for business traveller. Besides, drink are served at Lobby and if you need a business discussion, it is a great place!

Room Tip: Try to check in late.

Excellent location. Staff have been nice and helpful. Fair price with buffet breakfast, which was a delightful surprise~~ Room was a bit old, but spacious and comfortable. Carpet needs a bit more cleaning though. (We suggest you don't walk bare feet inside the room.) In-room wifi available. Bathroom was a bit difficult to use though. We used the bathtub, although we had to be extra careful in order not to wet the floor of the bathroom. (We didn't use the shower because we were not used to the "raining type" shower head fixed on top of our heads.) Strongly suggest adding extra sockets in the guest room as when you have two or three guests staying in the room, guests will have to fight for the limited number of sockets for like the pot, chargers for cameras, cell phones, computers and so on.

The property is a star-rated property located very conveniently in Taipei with easy access to Nangang Exhibition Centre. The rooms are quite spacious and bathrooms are well provisioned.
Breakfast is quite lavish , and they also help to accomodate special requests.
Overall the experience is good and I shall without doubt recommend the hotel.

Very close to the new center, the Taipei 101. Clean but a bit outdated, especially furniture. Very suited for business trips. The staff is cold and ambiance too. No SPA and fitness center is minimal.
