“Superb hotel!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2013

First of all, excellent location. Near the mrt station so you can travel easily or you can catch a taxi that stand by in front of the hotel. A mall is also 1 step away. Great view from the hotel, nice bathroom with complete amenities. Truly recommended!

Yes you do feel like you are in a french castle but it works well and is done with an immense about of class. I would hate to think what this finish cost - very well done.

It is quite dark but that is the theme and it works well, huge rooms, great table and nice staff. The bathroom is kind of in the bedroom but not too much of a concern.

I would come back...

Stayed there for 3 nights. Check in was great. Very helpful. Staff always trying to impress and polite. The room is big and airy but the decor is a mix of vintage and modern. To me is a very nice design but to others could be mixed. The breakfast spread is good, above average for a hotel. It is a above 4 stars but definitely not 5 stars yet. The open air pub is a letdown actually.

The design of the room is not quite user-friendly. Air-conditioning cannot be adjusted to your desire temperature. The stereo of the TV will has weird sound on and off, you need to take out your room card and insert in again to on off the power. Quite annoying.

I've been 7 nights at the hotel and can highly recommend the place. Elegant and super proffesionalle employees.
Focus on every detail and a super lounge for business people. Here you can work in peace and enjoy all kind of drinks, snacks and fruits. You can also get your breakfast in the lounge if you prefer peace more than the big and elegant dining hall with a huge range of food.
I had also a buffet lunch and it was top standard as well.
The location is just near by the main station and a big mall call Square.
All in all a super choice that I can recommend to everyone.

One night stay in Taipei, hotel is just across the Taipei Railway Station, right next to isquare building and on top of underground shopping market, very convenience spot for food and shopping. Hotel is very new, and staffs are super friendly. I love the toilet which is fully electronic like those in Japan, and the amenities are elegant. However, the theme of the hotel is a bit too dark, might not be everyone appreciate.

This is a slightly rococco hotel near the main railway station -- if you are coming in on the High Speed Train, you can make your way on foot, walking underground and through a shopping center, never exposing yourself to the elements.

Rooms are relatively small but very nicely done. The breakfast buffet is excellent, the executive lounge is a bit weird and generally empty but it's fine. My main complaint is that it's dark everywhere. The hallways are dark, the lobby is dark, the main downstairs restaurant is dark. There is only a tiny outdoor space with a bar where it seems that new employees are exiled so that getting a drink becomes an exercise in patience. There is no pool and the fitness center is a closet. Average.
