After reading such great reviews on this place, we decided to give it a go. This was our most expensive meal in Taiwan.
My husband and I each ordered a main course, which came with bread, soup, appetizer and dessert (I think I missed out sth else). He ordered the red wine lamb shank while I ordered the pork chop. We also topped up to try the meatballs everyone has been raving about.
The bread was really nice, the soup was great, the meatballs were awesome, salad was fine, and the dessert (apple cake) was to-die-for. For the main course, I rated 4 stars because my pork chop was slightly undercooked, so I didn't finish it. My husband's lamb shank was great though. Overall we had a great meal, it was very romantic and relaxed.
Getting there was a bit of a hassle though because our driver couldn't seem to find it. So he just left us by the roadside based on the address and we had to find our way into the back alley, which was where it was located. Should this also happen to you, you should call the restaurant and have them explain it to the driver. Or get the driver to call the restaurant. Just make sure you have their address in Chinese characters and their telephone number.
