Our family stayed in this hotel from Jan 31 to Feb 3, 2011.
We would like to share the following experience we had:
(i) There was no heat during our stay. The room was freezing cold when we checked in. We called the front desk and were first told to turn up the thermostat. We did that and there was still no heat except fresh air. We called the front desk again and were told they had no heat. The front desk then gave us a portable heater and advised us to turn off the air. We had to heat up the room before we went to bed and turned the portable heater off when we went to bed as it was very noisy. Since there was no fresh air over the night, all of us had very bad headache the next morning. We had headache during our stay in that hotel and destroyed our vacation in Taipei.
(ii) We noticed that the room had a very small window and the worst thing was that it was secured by iron bars from outside. In case of fire, there is no escape through that window.
