“5-star service, a beautiful small hotel”

We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights and this is the first time we visited Taiwan since 20 years ago. I sincerely thank to those who wrote reviews here about this hotel that enabled us to make a very good choice. The most impressive part of this hotel is the brilliant service, we can feel that it is driven from the heart of every staff member and also the generosity of the management. The delicious breakfast, the internet in the guest room and free use of their computer, bottles of water provided in the guest room and hotel lobby, umbrellas in the rainy day, self-service of instant noodles, coffee and tea in their tea-room, etc. and etc., everything is free to the guest. I had requested to have oatmeal for the breakfast, which is not in their menu, and they show pleasure in meeting my request, and this really moved me. We have traveled all over the world in the past 30 years and found that this is one of the best hotels we stayed.

When I first contacted with them by emails as to make enquiry of the booking, they always give their reply on the same day, and also, with good proficiency of English, that is not most of the Taiwanese hotel can do. It is a small hotel, but clean and stylish, everything is carefully designed for the good of the guest.

Apart from the above, I like to point-out something outside the hotel. As one of the reviews mentioned that there is a small seafood restaurant next to the hotel. We tried it and are not happy with their food, not to mention it being quite expensive.

  • Liked — good service, furniture & fittings
  • Disliked — no shower curtain, also, the shower head hanged on the wall is in a wrong angle

“Liked it a lot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2007

Taiwan Seasons is one of the newer boutique hotels to rise in the older part of the city. Though it may be around 10 to 15 minutes away from the nearest MRT station, accessibility isn't a problem as taxis can be easily flagged from the hotel entrance and free shuttle service can also be availed to the nearest MRT stations at half-hour or hourly intervals.

Booked a triple room through the internet. Check-in upon arrival was quick. The room that we got was tastefully decorated and clean. The jacuzzi was a big plus as well. We were given various options for set breakfast, including Japanese, Chinese, American, etc. A few PC's with free internet was available near the breakfast area. Overall, the entire look of the hotel was very easy on the eyes. The staff was very friendly and would greet us whenever we leave and arrive at the hotel. Complimentary bottled water was also available by the entrance in order to make sure guests don't feel thirsty while they're out and about the city.

I would stay in this hotel again during future visits to Taipei.

“Nice!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2007

I have just returned from a week at the Seasons Hotel in Taipei. I've never been more satisfied. It's one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The people working in the hotel are always friendly, and courteous.
The room & bathroom are always clean. I didn't mind just lying in bed till late, as the bed was really comfy. There's a jacuzzi in the bathroom, and usually after a tired day of walking, I'll take a nice hot bath to relax.
I can select the type of breakfast (Western, Chinese or Japanese).
There's a 7-11 shop just around the corner. There's a night market (about 15 minutes walk from the hotel) opens till late. There are lots of food there. There are also many shops that sells food which are just around the area.
The MRT station is about 15 minutes walk too, and it's only 1 stations away from the Taipei Main Station.
Overall, I don't mind going back to this hotel if I ever go to Taipei again.

  • Liked — The room and toilet was always clean.
  • Disliked — The bathroom was a bit small. There was no separator for the jacuzzi cum shower. Water from the shower would spill out.

“FIRST VISIT TO TAIWAN”

We have visited a lot of countries in the far east but this was our first visit to Taiwan. We stayed five nights in the Taiwan Seasons. The staff were so polite and friendly it really made this hotel memorable - on leaving everyone came down to the lobby to say goodbye!

We don't know how this hotel compares to others in Taipei but we liked it and the price was right!

“nice hotel i will want to stay again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2007

The staff are really very nice and helpful. One of my friends was sick and they did show concern to us from the bottom of their hearts.
The breakfast was very gd and we need to choose one type of it, eg. the chinese one, western one, the japanese one or one for vegetarian. This is not a buffet breakfast but it does encourage no wasting of food.
The room was not so big but it has a wonderful jacuzzi. really wonderful!!!!!
the location is about 15 min walk to the metro station but it only costs 75-80taiwan money to get to the station and the shuttle bus is provided free of charge to taipei station on schedule but you need to book it in advance at the counter.
there are some shops around the hotel if you explore more and food there is quite tastful.
my friends and i like seasons very much and we want to visit it in christmas again.
