Spectacular views of the Himalayan mountains from the balcony. It has a beautiful garden and view of the river gorge. The large lobby is very uniquely designed. Peaceful ambience. Though the road to the hotel is quite a bumpy one.

I thought the hotel was set in a nice location and the standard of room (decor) was nice.

However the service was appauling. The restaurant had a choice of 1 starter and only a few names.
Even though I went off season and think things would be a lot better in the right one, I did not get an apology just shrugging shoulders.

This is not worth the money they ask for. I would try some where else.
The lakeside offers 3 star accommodation where the service and standards I found are a lot higher e.g. Lake View Resort, Trek-o-tel

I asked for a pedicure and only got my toe nails cut.
The airconditioning, cable TV and hot water did not work for substantial periods of time.

What a location! beautiful, slightly out of the way spot on a gorge with a nonpariel view of the Annapurna range. The grounds of this hotel are lovely, full of flowers and ponds. Really nice not to be in the thick of the tourist strip.

Request a second floor or higher room with a mountain view, as the views from your balcony will be better.

Rooms are nice, definitely better than the Yak and Yeti in Kathmandu.

The best place to see the sunrise is the golf course, the fog in the gorge, the sun rising and hitting the mountain faces: Breathtaking!!

Restaurant is really nothing to write about.
Don't use the hotel travel desk to book anything other than plane tickets. The staff on the travel desk were singularly unknowledgeable. You are better off using a travel place on the main tourist strip in Pohkara.
