Description: The Pokhara Beach Club has organically grown from our desire to create a comfortable sustainable lifestyle here in Nepal. We were blessed finding one of the most unique properties on the Fewa tal and this made it an easy choice to make Pokhara our home. It seems we have created a restaurant around our home and this has made our guest experience so enjoyable and much more personal. About our name: While we only have a beach for half the year we have the only beach on the lake. Under a shady canopy of green our lounge and private areas at the water edge are so unique we wanted a name that would say waterfront, something truly lakeside. After all one of the main attractions of Pokhara is the lake and we have the lake like no other place. Please come and enjoy your time and experience the lake at The Pokhara Beach Club. We offer freshly prepared dishes served in our unique lakeside environment with an attention to detail that will exceed guest expectations and we hope we can enhance your experience in Pokhara. Relax the day away in a cozy private area and enjoy the WiFi at the water's edge or join a group and share the view and good food and drink with other travelers from the corners of the world. At the Pokhara Beach Club it is as much about the atmosphere as it is about the food!

“Tremendous!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

My wife and I had dinner here on our recent trip to Pokhara and it was excellent. The food is amazing and the environment is one of a kind. I highly recommend the boar burger. The owners are a lovely married couple who are as hospitable as they come, even showed us their home which is just adjacent to the restaurant. I'm only sad that we didn't have time to come back the next day before our flight. See you next time Steven.

“Come for food, stay for view and take back the memories”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

This place is isolated from all the crazy few lake cluttered restaurants and bars. the beauty of this place is that its ON THE LAKE not like others which gives you lake view but they will give you the lake itself!! the whole ambiance is so raw and takes you into the natures best experience. the food was very yummy but wished they could have more variety. but whatever they serve its cooked for you to remember and urge to come back again. Very peaceful atmosphere, i will definitely come back here.

“Perhaps the best place to chill”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

This hidden gem in Pokhara is certainly not easy to find, but perhaps it's best kept that way. Steven ( the owner ) was a joy to talk to and was always there to serve. This place serves the perhaps the best pancakes in the world. The wild boar burger was certainly something I would go back as well. While there, do ask Steven to fix you up a breakfast ( off menu ) and ask to throw in some wildboar patties into your eggs. You might find yourself having the best breakfast of your lives :)

“Went not once, not twice, but thrice!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

Pokhara Beach Club is nestled away from the main bustle of the New Pokhara city, and took us a while to find it on the first visit on bicycle. What seemed like a very ordinary entrance gate led to a very warm and surprising welcome in the form of a zen-looking interior. The sandy lanes and noisy roads soon transformed into an idyllic atmosphere with a peaceful Phewa lake view. We were then greeted by the friendly Stephen and Preeti.

On first look, their menu may seem skimpy and short of variety as compared to many restaurants in Pokhara, but the food is simply awesome. As Gordon Ramsay once said, to keep things simple and the places with hundreds of choices isn't always the best. I ordered the Wild Boar Burger and this was easily one of my best meal in Pokhara. It was packed with flavour, the bread was nicely toasted, and the salad was fresh. My group spent easily more than 3hours here, and was really nice and relaxed here. It was also coincidentally one of the friend's birthday, and Stephen whipped up an apple pancake birthday surprise, and WOW this was the nicest pancakes I have tasted in a long time!

So nice were the pancakes that my group decided to pay them another visit for desserts one afternoon, and we were rewarded with a kitchen tour and demonstration on how to make those delicious pancakes. Stephen made it look so easy to prepare, but I guess only he can replicate that incredibly high standards. He made us 3 versions: Plain, Maple syrup & Butter, Chocolate & Banana. Of course, we were blown away by all 3 :)

As a Canadian tradition where the men prepare breakfast for the families on a Sunday, Stephen kindly invited us for "a killer breakfast" even though his place does not open for breakfast. He offered us scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes and toast. We were slightly skeptical at first, given the simple nature of it and that many restaurants out there do offer the same thing. But again, Stephen delivered and to our surprise, the scrambled eggs contained bits of the Wild Boar patties!!! Best breakfast ever man, this guy is a genius!!!

All in all, we visited this place 3 times in a short span of 4 days, and we were never disappointed. To me, this restaurant has that X-factor and deserves the top spot on Tripadvisor for a long time to come.

“A sanctuary away from the rest of the world..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012 via mobile

Pokhara beach club isn't the easiest place to find but once you find it, you will know it is worth it.

The restaurant is in a world of its own. The owners are amazingly hospitable and once you settle down, you will understand why they traveled all the way to pokhara to settle down. Laze in the chairs and watch the world go by. The restaurant is just gorgeous.

The main course (chicken and fish) may have a slightly small portion, but the wild boar burger was great. The salad was very refreshing! The best part however, was the dessert!! The owners put together the dessert and turned it into a beautiful birthday cake of pancakes, apple and maple syrup! The number of "wow"s we exclaimed said it all. The dessert is a definte must try! :)

PBC is a great place to go to for a nice quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the main city and it will be an attraction on its own in time to come!
