Our first experience of white water rafting was in the dry season and was half a day (about an hour and a half on the actual river) on the Upper Seti. It was exhilarating and fun - I was expecting not to enjoy it so much, but was fully engaged all the way down. Given the level of input, 1.5 hours was enough. Our second trip was much more lesiurely, a two day trip with an overnight on a sandy camp site on the bend in the Lower Seti with no rapids approaching those of the Upper Seti trip. A family were also in the raft with two young children and they had a great time. The staff communicate very well, are very conscientious and aware of safety (with kayaks for safety on both trips). It is a very well run operation, trustworthy and good value for money. The most important thing was Paddle Nepal's, flexibility in setting up the trip, great food on the way down the Lower Seti - it all ran like clockwork, the staff dealing admirably with problems surrounding a strike, making sure that some of the party got to Chitwan and returning us, sunburned, happy and relaxed to Pokhara. You don't need to spend a fortune to have a good time. Highly recommended for families and others who have not done rafting before and want an initial experience with professional staff who appreciate it when you pitch in and help, setting up tents, etc. Makes it all a worthwhile experience.
