“An oasis....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

Hands down, the best hotel we stayed in in Nepal. If this was the US, I would give it four stars. Considering the location, I bumped it up. The resort exceeds western standards. The staff provides excellent service and the pool is great!

My husband and I spent 3 nights at temple tree whilst on a tour of Nepal. The room was clean, lovely little balcony, good bath room and TV with a good selection of internet channels. Reception were helpful. Wifi bit temperamental but available in the rooms. The hotel had backup power for the load easing enforced blackouts. We only ate there once but it was good food. Well located for lakeside. I would definitely recommend.

Overall good expierence..Enjoy staying here with my family.we enjoyed especially when it was raining outside watching the rain from the back window.Best location.food was okay...

To be honest, I didnt like the location of the swimming pool. Nepalese girls, there are really shy and I noticed that people pass through the pool way before going to the room and are often watching the girls in the pool.anyway, loved the overall experience. Friendly staff.

This small and charming hotel is well located in the center of lakeside area while being quiet and private. Rooms are very rustic looking, with beautiful uneven walls and wool carpets. They come with a balcony on the central garden. Swimming pool is amazing, big and dotted with stone statues. Buffet breakfast is adequate and they serve it from very early morning so very convenient for any early sightseeing. We also found the best restaurant of our trip very near to it, the Caffe Concerto. Recommend.

We stayed here three nights - one before our trek and two afterwards. What a nice spot to return to after our trek. A dip in the pool, a massage at the spa and a pina colada were just what we needed to recover. This is a pretty property with great views. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We mainly ate at the hotel as the food was good and the poolside atmosphere was great. We would recommend this hotel and would come back again ourselves.

I felt the room was somewhat small but adequate and a good shower. The restaurant staff were especially nice to me on a day when I dined alone because I wasn't feeling well. The swimming pool was nice and cool and refreshing. Dining alfresco was pleasant, accompanied by live music.
Nothing really negative to say except that I felt a lack of spaciousness and there was one pool of dirty water that seemed to be part of the landscaping. Overall recommended.
