Our group of 12 trekkers stayed at the Rupa Guest House for three nights. We ate lovely breakfasts (eggs, tea, porage) each morning before setting out to trek and then returned in the late afternoon to enjoy cold Gorkha beer on the roof top to watch the sun set. The Nepali dinners were fresh, tasty and hearty (example: rice, dhal, curried veggies or ramen noodle soup and stir fired rice). The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. Every member of the family helped out around the guest house when they weren't studying or volunteering. Be sure to taste the home grown, roasted and ground coffee. It was the best coffee I have tasted, just wish there was more! Thanks Rupa Guest House!
