We were staying for a month in Pokhara for a medical elective, and shifted to Hotel ABC after an afternoon of strolling through Lakeside investigating options more central than our initial choice. While central (a 5 sec walk from the centre of Lakeside), it was also a quiet location, set back from the main drag. The beds were the most comfortable of our time in Nepal (especially after Kathmandu), and the hosts were very friendly. They had a fire outside the hotel every night, and would frequently invite us to share tea or popcorn etc (Hari's popcorn parties were a favourite!). The rooms had a double and single bed, balcony, a tv, and ensuite. Water was heated by solar power, so on cloudy days it could be difficult to get a hot shower (but there was a generator to heat the water, though it could take some time). The generator was also useful during Pokhara's notorious power outages. The hosts were happy to clean the room whenever we asked for it. Overall a lovely stay, though potentially more expensive than some of the other options (but less seedy than many cheaper options too!). Have recommended friends to visit!
