Holy Himalaya is a brilliant hotel by Kathmandu standards. It is in a good area, which is quiet and close to all the shops. The staff are well trained, and were very helpful.
The rooms are comfortable, they aren't luxury by western standards - but are perfectly adequate.
What really stands out with this hotel is the free use of to computers and internet on the 1st floor. This is really great if you want to connect with relatives/friends before you go into areas with limited internet (Everest region?).
We were in Nepal because we were doing Base Camp Everest, which was truly an experience. And this hotel provided for all our needs.
I recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay near the market/shops (walking distance), in a comfortable room/hotel.
