Cookie Walla was one of my favourite places to go in Thamel, a little difficult to find at first but if you're persistent and ask for directions, it is definitely worth your time.
An Israeli desert place, Cookie Walla is a great place for a late night sweet snack/coffee and tea, the people who work there are so friendly and you're welcomed with the biggest smile and Namaste. The decor isn't the flashiest or most fanciest but the beauty in the place is in its people and their food, its a bit dark and quite a small place but that was not off putting for me when I got my desert (I got 'Hello to the King'), which was some biscuits and bananas quickly pan fried together, layered with some ice-cream and then topped with chocolate sauce and a slice of coconut chocolate cake! Definitely worth every 200NR I paid for!
