“Lovely relaxed atmosphere for breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Although I have become a a regular visitor to Kathmandu I only recently came upon the Revolution Cafe, because it is tucked away in a quiet side street and although not far from the center of Thamel it is a little hard to find. However this time it became our venue of choice for breakfasts. The Muesli Fruit Curd with coffee for breakfast was great and I looked forward to it every day. Of course, I find the Nepalis delightful, charming people and the pleasant, informative conversation over breakfast with the owners added greatly to my Kathmandu experience.
I cannot rate this restaurant for lunches or dinners but the prices are right, the ambiance is what I look for in Kathmandu and the I get the impression the management is trying really very hard to please. I'll be back one day.

“Relax, Sit back, Enjoy.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

The three guys that own this place are very friendly. They have worked together for years making it very comfortable atmosphere. There is a couple of nice pillow lay down areas. I love the quite courtyard. So peaceful. Great place to unwind, daydream, have a business meeting, ,connect with friends. surf with free WiFi. . It's a fun cool place to be.
The food I tasted was great. You've got to have the momos. Homemade Carrot cake was yummy. The beer was ice cold with a very frosted mug. I hope they combine the local and western menu and keep their coffee strong and hot..I believe they will do well in their new restaurant. Look forward to my next time there.

“One of the best in Kathmandu!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

Great food, tasty drinks, peaceful location, beautiful garden, polite staff.... what else can you need to have for your breakfast, lunch and dinner? Definitely one of the best places to eat or just have a cup of organic coffee and relax in Kathmandu! Highly recommended!
