“Well organised to handle huge crowds”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

Pasupatinath at first sight looks no different from any other temple in Kathmandu but once you are in, you find the mighty Nandi and the imposing temple complex. There is so much to it that one can spend hours even if one is not offering the puja. The cows loitering and the flocks of pigeons too lend grace to the place. Foreigners can be seen clicking pics from the other side. Though photography is restricted inside one can still come back with few memories from the area around the main temple. The shoe stand is well organised and there are few priests to disturb. I found the viewing gallery in front of the main temple to be of great benefit.

“Long way for nothing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

It was a long bumpy trip to get here. It was very dirty and not inspiring. There are better ways to spend your time in Kathmandu

“No need to go”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

If you are not Hindu then no need to go there. It will just waste your time. Renovation works are going on. Bad smells captured you when you will enter the place. It's a must visit place for Hindus, but not for the other religion. There is nothing to see here.
