We stayed this hotel during our 31st dec(new year). It was a nice experience to stay in the local city in a hotel. we enjoyed the spa facilities. Restaurants are excellent in this hotel.
Good quality rooms and efficient service.

Have just returned from Kathmandu after a stay of 2 nights / 3 days with an Incentive group of nearly 50 people from Portual, Spain & France.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. Right from arrival (special welcome) until farewell brunch, everything was just perfect.

The team at Soaltee makes an extra effort to make sure that every guest is well looked after.

Many congratulations to Mr. Kunal Shankar (EAM at the hotel) and his team.

Keep it up!

The Soaltee was an all around lovely experience. A little out of the main congestion of Kathmandu but close enough to easily access; the staff are extremely professional but with warmth and genuine care, particularly evident when requiring local assistance; the facilities are excellent - good gym/ sauna etc; delicious food, both Nepali and European dishes.
Nepali people are very special in many ways and the staff at the Soaltee exemplify this in an environment that is clean and comfortably high standard.
The only caution - due to the need to generate a supply of good water and continuous power for their guests, ask for a room away from the generator if available.

The rooms were clean and neat. Good towels and bathroom amenities. Heating was not so strong but it was never uncomfortable. Air conditioning is good in the summer time.
We had all of our meals in the hotel and they were all very good. Offering variety and good quality. Indian foods were particularly nice. Dosas in the morning were wonderful change from eggs and toast.
Quietest rooms are near the front of the hotel or facing the gardens. In the back of the hotel are some very noisy generators. Noisy true but they do provide constant electricity. Much of Kathmandu can be without electricity for many hours each day and night.
This is my third stay and I would certainly love to return soon.

We reached Kathmandu for a one night stay and decided to stay here. First of all the location is far off from Airport and the hotel itself is not great as per the looks. We checked into our room and it was stuffy with bad air and the windows pane were not functional. The moment we sat down on the bed, we felt insects and mosquito bites. Soon, we found there were bed bugs around and it was surely not a pleasant site. I called the Duty Manager and she sent a bell-boy with an anti-insect spray.
When i demanded that she comes to see the place, she turned up 30 mins late and then gave lame excuses on how the bed bugs have come there. Then she moved us into a separate room which was smaller than the one which i had booked and also did not had complete amenities. But we managed to stay there overnight and left first thing in the morning. I would suggest you book Hyatt or some other 5 star hotel and give this one a miss.
