We ate here two nights in a row while staying at the Ambassador Gardens. It is a reasonably short and entertaining walk from the hotel. The food is good: not too 'westernized' and very well prepared. The service was excellent the first night and reasonably good on the second night...try to get a table on the second floor over looking the dance floor...the waiters there seem more good humored and attentive, plus the view of the dancers is much better. I was surprised at the number of non-tourists that dined there...refreshing. We had typical set menu, which was very tasty and more than we could eat. Compared to some of the other local restaurants it is a bit expensive, but the ambiance and the service is very comfortable and worth the difference. We felt at ease and relaxed, as well as well feed...a nice combination. Try the local rice 'wine'...very invigorating!
