“Best restaurant of kathmandu”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013 via mobile

I read a lot about this hotel on tripadvisor, so decided to take dinner here..and my dinner was just awesome..not disappointed a bit..very very fresh and hygiene..loved the local food, specially "saag", prepared with basic spices and herbs..
Will strongly recommend this restaurant for kathmandu visitors..do try once, you will definitely like..

“In Kathmandu you have to do ^.^”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

We had dinner at Krishnapan Restaurant at the Dwarika Hotel on 26th March 2013 and were not disappointed. We arrived early to take in the surroundings of the beautiful and majestic hotel that has been restored to her glory. Upon arrival we were greeted by reception and told that our booking will be checked. This was in their part a distraction not to give away it was a double surprise birthday dinner for our daughter and her partner. We were then taken to the restaurant and our small party of 4 people were gob smacked by it's décor and ambience. Being a birthday surprise, the restaurant staff performed a traditional Puja (blessing) ceremony for our daughter and her partner and were each given little gifts to take home. We each received our personalized menus, which is part of the dinning experience to the delight of our party. We had the 6 course set dinner and were so over the moon with the high standard of food, taste and serving. The staff were very friendly and efficient during the whole night. On paying the bill and saying our goodbyes we were each presented a terracotta tile with a good luck symbol on it, for their way of saying thank you. Many thanks to Krishnapan Restaurant in the Dwarika Hotel for such a good night. Book before you leave your country via the hotel's website, you won't be disappointed.

“It's a Beautiful Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

We ate in the multi-cultural restaurant and have before eaten in the Nepali food only restaurant. Dwarika's is without doubt the most beautiful and well maintained hotel, with it courtyard, candles, lovingly restored woodwork and bricks. It is a unique place to visit and eat and I would guess, to stay. Have nothing but encouraging words to say about it. The visitor is taken into another world. The food, and service were both excellent, but the atmosphere and sheer visual beauty of the place is what really sticks in the mind.

“Best dinner in Kathmandu by a mile.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013 via mobile

Great location and fabulous setting makes the visual experience top notch. The food was great and I was with a friend who is a chef who loved it more than I did. Food is varied and well prepared and comes in multiple courses. They were all great. The staff was hugely efficient and helpful and very friendly. Dwarika was the culinary highlight of our trip to Nepal. Ok ok you have to find something to improve on.....the rice wine. It was mercifully complimentary but would strip the bark off an oak tree. That said, we can't wait to go back.
