“A Great Glimpse in WW2 History”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

Arguably one of the most challenging times in history, Eisenhower led the Greatest Generation in the largest world conflict. His life and times is strongly intertwined with the world at war. The museum does a great job remembering a great leader.

“Great museum even when you're not a huge history buff.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

The experience started out with a about a 25 minute movie recapping Eisenhower's life, followed by a tour of Eisenhower's childhood home. The museum itself is large and full of interesting artifacts. It seemed to go on forever. Definitely could spend a couple of hours just in the museum. It was nice that it was completely handicap accesible as I was in a wheelchair at the time.

“Great for WWII buffs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

We're going to all Presidential libraries so we planned this stop. Unfortunately we didn't plan enough time so we'll have to go back. The library is a research library and not for the general public's review. The museum starts with WWII. We don't remember WWII ourselves, but we are the next generation. We learned a lot about it, and my Dad was a naval officer then. I just didn't expect such a large display. It's gripping. We didn't get to the Presidential sections until it was time to go. We also didn't expect it to close at 4:45, either. We missed that on the website. We saw less than there was to see in the time we were there. So, we recommend that Americans go. It's a great part of our history. And, plan a few hours there. We missed the film, the boyhood home, the meditation place. All we saw in our nearly two hours was the WWII part of the museum! I say more than 3 hours to visit because of the WWII displays and the 24-minute film. We love the films. The more I think about it, the more I realize we have to go back. And, from now on we're planning 3 hours for each library.

“Interesting!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013 via mobile

Very interesting. Could easily spend a day if you took time to read everything and look at all the exhibits. The film in the visitors center provided glimpse into the life of Ike. Glad that we had an opportunity to stop there on our way through KS

“Great time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

The museum was really interesting and has tons of information. We didn't go into the library, but the museum had more than enough displays and information. You can also tour his boyhood home, which is located between the visitors center and the museum. Overall a really nice stop.
