decided to pop over for a drink as had heard so much about the place.
It turned out to look even better than i expected,great views fantastic grounds.

turned up on a busy evening i think there was a graduation bash taking place upstairs but was still able to get attention.
place look nice decor simple done up like a safari lodge.....but in a residential area.
i think its a great pace to have a drink/party.
i like places that nice grounds that are well looked after.
place was also very clean which was great.

Myself and my partner went to Cassia Lodge for a meal in their restuarant and just to spend the evening there relaxing. The views are spectacular especially of Lake Victoria which is clearly visible as Cassia Lodge is situated on a hill. We were given a guided tour of the hotel rooms and the swimming pool all of which were to good standard. The only downside was that the price of the meals is on the high side.

Positives: Great views of Lake Victoria. Fun to sit on the veranda for dinner and see the sun set. The rooms have ceiling fans. Some rooms have air conditioning. The second time we stayed there everything worked and we had power the whole time. Also, the second time the food seemed much better. Maybe that was because we had been traveling for two weeks by that time.
Negatives: The first time we stayed here we experienced frequent power outages (5 in two days). Also, we had asked for adjacent rooms, which we got for the first night, but then had to move rooms the next night to make sure we still had adjacent rooms. Really bad, they charge an outrageous exchange rate on the dollar basically 15% below market. Some of the equipment like fan and ceiling fans are old and in need of replacement. Based on our two stays I would say make sure everything in your room works.

extremely relaxing with a cool breeze from Victoria, a good place for a vacation indeed. the service is welcoming en warm, the food is indeed some thng, with different dishes and the african setting makes it exquisite, we enjoyed our time at cassia lodge kampala.
