I've been to Le Chateau twice now, both times the steak was excellent, as good as any steak i've had anywhere in the world. It's organic beef and real quality cuts that come with chips or mashed potato. It's on the expensive side for Kamplala restaurants (about 40,000 - 50,000UGX per person including a couple of drinks) but well worth it if you're a steak lover. The setting is very nice and there's lot's of space to eat outside. The first time I went (with just 2 people) we had a very friendly and helpful waiter, the second time there were 11 of us and our waiter was moody and abrupt. Hopefully that was just a one off!
