Husband and I stayed 4 days. In fairness they are doing major refurbishment, so a lotta banging during the day. Replacing old windows.
The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms need a good scrub, I had to keep asking for - towels, shampoo, more than one teabag please, sugar etc. The telephone in the room needed sterilising yuk. There is a fridge with bottled water and good A/C
We were the road side so pretty noisy, pool sides good, beautiful swimming pool and surround.
The staff need training they do not listen to your order. I drink tea and was given coffee in a teapot. All the spouts were broken on the tip good harbour for buggies.
Samosas, lunch time I had to pour out the fat, nachos were like a bit of leather with cheese on top.
The evening Indian meal. Chicken Korma tasted like it was cooked in old fish oil.
Good gym and squash courts
If you choose this place then make sure you get a good reduction. At the moment it's overpriced
Ok, we ate Indian food in the evening, my husband stays here with his company, so he recommended the chicken. It tasted like it was cooked in old fish fat, no more to say. The rice was good.
Breakfast is a good buffet. Lunch time don't go for snacks. Nachos were like old boots and my samosas I had to pour out the fat on a tissue.
There are good squash court and gym facilities.
The hotel driver Luley Edwards took me out while husband was at work. He was very safe and courteous, what a lovely man.
The first impression of The Kabira are lovely, especially the owners Bently convertible parked outside, I noticed it was pretty clean in that!
If you are not too fussy then stay here, but get them to reduce the price because they are deffinately over charging.
The place is gorgeous to look at green and a lovely ambience, but don't look too close.
I do hope they get on with the refurb and staff/cook improvement.
