Mamba Point is a fantastic guesthouse, perfect for business and holiday travellers alike. It's a short distance to the centre of Kampala, yet situated in the quiet and sophisticated neighbourhood of Nakasero. Patrons Guido and Fiona offer comfortable rooms, all mod cons (including free wireless broadband) and fantastic and professional service, supported by their excellent staff. The rooms at the guesthouse open out onto a fabulous garden with swimming pool - keep your eyes open during breakfast for some wonderful bird watching. There is a small bar and also a snack service - but make sure you take full advantage of their wonderful Italian restaurant (next door). I stayed here for 2 weeks and can't recommend it highly enough - i'll definitely be going back.
