If I am craving a coffee shop experience, this is my first choice in Kampala. The service is excellent, the food is yummy but be forewarned, the portions are huge. My husband and I often share a meal or I order a couple samosas and he gets a sandwich/quesadilla with fries and that is enough for both of us with leftovers. We bought some cookies to go once and they were a bit dry so I won't buy those again but the pastries, savoury and sweet, are delicious.
The prices are high compared to Ugandan food prices but then you are in a Western-style cafe with ingredients that are not common. Cheese is particularly expensive so you'll notice higher prices for items with cheese.
Great atmosphere and always busy. Amazing service. We eat here once a month when we shop at Oasis mall.
