Indian dishes are amazing. Garlic naan -- wow. Breakfast starts at 7am and I'm not sure they ever add to that initial buffet, so get there early or get nothing. They serve two kinds of juice (at least one fresh), tea/coffee, fruit, white bread, jam, honey, peanut butter, and four bins of hot food including baked beans, some kind of meat, and then two wild cards. The rooms have a great view but part of the windows are a mesh-covered grate that you can't close so it can get loud (and with the frequent wedding reception below, this means REALLY LOUD) and chilly at night. Carpet is vile and frightening and you shouldn't stay here without some inside shoes to wear around. There is nowhere to put clothes besides a couple wardrobes, each with two hangars each. (???) No safe or kettle but there is a big fridge. Request a room away from the eating deck so you won't breath in cigarette smoke all night. Sunday nights there is a complementary dance show that showcases dances from around Uganda. Gym is fantastic and I am adding a star just for that. Without the gym (and garlic naan) the hotel is average/high average.
