This is actually in the Corinthian hotel, which is the new name for the Burj Al-Fateh, so don't get confused. The food was very good, and I was hungry for spring rolls and hot- sour soup, so I wasn't disappointed. For locals, it could be expensive, but with the currency conversion rates, it's affordable for foreigners. Well, the view and the service are top. I didn't like it though as I left a large tip for our waiter, and the man running the cash register came and grabbed it before the waiter got to the table. The waiter probably never saw that tip!
We had a table toward the outside edge facing toward the window, and the table is actually on a clear surface not attached to any wall, so you get the impression of being slightly suspended above floors visible below and that view all around you - Nice? Yes, wine would have made it even better.... (Too bad that the 5 star hotels in Khartoum can't offer it.)
