This is always a popular spot, right on Lumley Beach with a great sunset view. Rumour has it that the government might be trying to close down many of the beach front cafes, so let us hope that Roys can get around this proposed ban as its a great place to unwind and meet others. I think it has some of the best Lebanese food in Freetown ( lebanese chef and managment make sure of this!) - lovely traditional mezze, kebabs, fish, kofta and sharmas ....There are other non-lebanese dishes, but I think Lebanse is best bet here. The cafe attracts a mixed bag of tourists, locals and expat residents. The guest House is across the street and rooms are simple but functional if you require an ok room - prices still high at USD 90 for the simplest of room ( no sea view), but all accomodation in Freetown is over priced. Typical lunch with beer/drinks for two will run about USd 40 pp, or a bit more.
