They claim on a leaflet in the room to be a 5 star hotel at 3 star prices. It is close to being a good hotel but little things let it down. Such poor quality toilet paper. Only shampoo , no shower gel. The bed is the hardest I have ever slept on. Service in the restaurant terrible. No do not disturb signs so staff walk in while you are in the shower. One off the strangest things is that there is a huge window so you can see into the bathroom from the lounge area. If you have a guest in the room and they sit on the sofa they can see you in the shower or on the toilet!!. There is no blind or curtain. The lighting is too dark to see clearly for shaving.
Worst of all, the hotel visa machine did not accept my card so I went to the bank to get some money and my local agent paid the remainder. i left 200,000 Shillings and the receptionist counted it. I told them my agent will come later to pay the balance and I left to fly to Burundi. My agant called me to tell me that they said I only paid 180,000!! I wrote an email to the Managing director who apologised and refunded the money to my agent. This is a disgrace for a new hotel trying to make it way. I will never stay there again and they have a lot of work to do.
