Tried this restaurant twice on my last visit to Kigali.
On both occasions Lawrence the Japanese head chef looked after us and cooked excellent dishes to all our individual requirements.
It was a shame that the service was slow and a little unprofessional. If you like wine don't bother looking at the list just ask what they have it will be quicker! Also if there is a party of you I would also suggest asking how many bottles in stock because you may find there is only one of each. Stock seems to be an issue.
Paying the bill became entertaining as on the first occasion their visa machine had broken and much like most Europeans you do not wander around with pockets full of cash. That took a return trip with cash the following day!! Unbelievable!!
The setting is excellent the restaurant is large and airy.
Finally, it is not cheap!!
