“ITS NAMIBIA”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

Great popular local and quaint restaurant. Fills up with the locals which is great indication that it is a very good restaurant and I echo the sentiments. If you have never tasted different game meats, this is the place to do it. Prices are a bit above average for Namibia but still worth the price.

The menu is quite varied for any taste.

“A must-do for visitors”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

I love unusual places and this was certainly that ! We were there on a weeknight, but it was quite busy. I had the "classic" game meat skewer: crocodile, ostrich, zebra, kudu, etc... It really is alot of meat and 2 people could share it. The zebra was the best. There is a koi pond in the courtyard with the biggest goldfish I've ever seen. The lively energy of the place is more remarkable than the food.

“Excellent place with great and funny decor. Always packed so be sure to book if you dont want to eat on the toilets!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012 via mobile

Packed but not noisy, huge place separated in various corners with great vibe and decorated with great taste. Food is good but not excellent and served rapidly considering the number of guests served during the night. Definitely a great place for parties. Book in advance to avoid eating at the bar on the toilet seats serving as barstools !

“Weird and Wonderful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

This is a really quirky pub/restaurant. It covers a large area with various sections for small and larger parties, together with central, circular tables and thatched awnings. Every nook and cranny is stuffed with junk, and this is its attraction really. Food was pretty good and well priced, and the service prompt.
You get a feel of the place the moment you enter, when you spot a Mini on the roof above you.
My wife and I did not book, and were lucky to find a table.

“Well, I never!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

What an eccentric restaurant! Everyone shares tables and the atmosphere is fabulous and the food just as good! Mind out for the massive portions! Glad it was on our GPS as it is quite hard to find. Best to book in advance.
